3 days out and ready to post

Hey everyone first of all I want to say thank you for all your prayers and support. I am now 3 and a half days out and doing OK. I still have a lot of gas pain and I wish I could burp. The only bad pain besides the gas is my neck. I couldn't believe how bad my neck hurt but it is slowly getting better. I was told that during the surgery they really stretched my neck back for the tubing.  It feels better today and I'm sure that if a few days I won't even notice it. I do well sipping on broth, so-so sipping on water, and the isopure was a no go. I did manage to drink one of the test tube protein shots so that's what I'm using for protein now. Sometimes I feel fine and sometimes I feel like I've been beat up. My incisions are very small and I don't really feel them except for an occasional pinch type feeling. I guess that's it for now. I hope everyone who has just had surgery is doing well.
With faith all things are possible

I can tell you from my experience each day gets better.  Just take it easy, try drinking the water at room temp.  I found it went down a lot easier!  Good Luck!

You know I am 14 month out and I still have to drink most things at room temp. or slightly cooler it is just not worth the pain it puts my pouch in.
