Had surgery monday 9-14! out of hospital on thursday. Dr said he did not have alot of room to work with since I carry most of my weight in my stomach being a male, said i was a challenge but all went well. I am bloated and feel like a ton of gas in my stomach, any idea how to relief?
I have a drain tube, it keeps geting full every 8 hours 40cc, its getting a litle clearer less blood? anyone have any info on drain tubes...My dr told me he only does 5% drain tubes and I got one? Doing well with all liquids cold, hot, isopure ect. not in much pain! I am a survivor!

Hi there! congrats on the surgery! And welcome to the Loser's Bench....and I am assuming here that you had WLS and not Plastics?  Can't help you regarding the drain but the gas and bloatedness is from the air being pumped into your body during surgery.  Only way I've heard of getting rid of it is walking....outside preferably LOL  Passing wind..well, it's the only way I know of to get rid of the 'air'.  And I'm sure someone here will tell you of the 'praying for wind' parties they have down south...that group IS a little strange, in case you hadn't noticed ROTFL  (Love ya all Southern Cali gang!)
Happy to hear all else from surgery is going great. Just keep sipping tha****er,  walking and getting your vitamins in...all are so important.

Hi there!  I'm not too sure what surgery you had but if you had WLS, walking is the best medicine for gas and GasX as Darlene mentioned.  I wish you a speedy recovery!
