Finally Friday! GUS are you listening?

Good Morning Gus and California Guys and Gals!

Sorry I have been waiting all week to tell Gus it's Friday!  Today is going to be awesome,  Yesterday  was awesome t the max and I am sure some of yesterday is going t spill over into today!  Life is good.  I so felt yesterday that I was making a difference and it felt amazing.  I started out the day thinking what the heck am I doing?  Then ended up I can't wait to do the same today!  You see I am one of those who have to feel like they are making a mark on this world, a positive mark.  I like to leave people with a smile also, even when I go to the market I make a point of making one person smile.  I know it is so wierd and I have no clue where it comes from.  Yesterday I know why the day was good, it was I got to do what I love and I also was able to share about God and his love and wisdom.  I did it openly and lovingly and it was awesome.  I love having a job where I can be me and do the things I love.  Some days are not pretty, but without those icky horrible crawl back into bed days, I would not have those AWESOME DAYS like yesterday.

Today I challange you to do something you love.  Something that makes you feel good.  Take your dog for a walk, read a book, get a massage, watch a show you recorded on TIVO, knit, crochet, what ever it is Just do it!  Then I would love to have you make one person smile today.  If someone does not have a smile, give them yours, I hope you have lots, Heck my smile inventory is super HIgh today so I will share with you!

Good Morning Rhonda and the Cali Crew!!!

What a great post this morning Rhonda.  It is something I needed today and you made me smile already this morning.  I have had such a hard week at work this week.  I am still dealing with this coworker that is determined to make my life hell.  She tries to get my loads canceled, get me in trouble with the boss and just plain irritate me.  I am not going to let her get to me today.  It is going to be a good day.  Tonight, I think I will find a good movie on tv, poor a glass of wine (or get a beer) and just relax with my kids. 

Nothing planned for this weekend.  I think my friends are coming over to fix my car tomorrow which I hope happens.  Then church on Sunday.  Somewhere in there will be cleaning, laundry and a grocery store run.   I live such an exciting life.  

I hear the coffee is done.  Time to get a cup and get back to work.  I only have a couple of trucks to move today so it is a light day.

You sound terrific today and that makes me smile!  I love it when people are not nice to me!  I will tell you why, to me it is a challange.  I keep being nice to them and they look like the fool.  I know you are a believer like I am so keep in mind "HOT COALS" remember that story?  It has brought me many blessings!  I had someone call me a bad name yesterday and I spent the afternoon praying for that person, and do you know I got praised at how I handled the situation!  It was so amazing!  I will keep your co-worker in prayer today, maybe if the both of us do, she will turn around and see the error of her ways?  Heck it is worth a try.  Enjoy your wine/beer and a good movie, you deserve it.

Good Morning Rhonda and Cali Friends,

Ah happy Friday!  I loved your post this morning, (although I love them every morning) but today was especially great.  You and I are SO much alike and think along the same lines too.  I have been overwhelmed with the mess that I walked in to.  I love the job and I know that once I make it mine, it will be fine.  I am an organizing freak at work, things have to be orderly and labeled so I can find things easily.  There was so much paper in the office, I thought I would drown in sheets and reams of it!  I finally took some time yesterday to make labels and sort things out and I am making progress.  I am my worst enemy though because I don't give myself enough time to learn I just expect I should know it already!  Oh well, life's lessons eh?

My step mom Lil is here this weekend, and we've already begun the fun.  Last night we went to the Dollar Store so I could buy some stuff for my office.  I'm sure there will be a Costco run in us and a few other places to boot.

Tonight brings dinner out and my father-in-law says he's raring to go!  This will be his first dinner out since May, so needless to say, we're pretty excited for him.

Well it's 6a.m. and time to hop into the shower.  I hope everyone has a great weekend and have fun.  It will be hot up in Concord this weekend, probably over 100.

Oh Barb what a fun weekend you are going to have.  How exiting for Isla to go out with her husband after so long and you all being there to share that.  I am so happy for all of you.  Will you give everyone there a big hug from me and then turn around and tell Ron to give you a big hug for me?  How cool.  Enjoy your job and take the time to learn.  There is an old saying that you die the day you stop learning! So I make a point to learn something new each and every day.  I am shooting for 200 I think I will make it!  lol.  Have a blessed day.

Thanks for spreading the happiness and giving me a morning smile.  I am headed out the door as I have errands before work.  After work I am going to my first Banning football game to show some school spirit.  I haven't been to a high school game in 10 years.  I hope we win.

Oh Monica,

I wish I lived closer and I would go with you to the football game, I have not been in more years that I can remember.  I kissed Paul Fisher under the bleachers at one game.  It was a horrible kiss, but I was happy he tried!  lol.  Now look what you have done!  Made me smile!

Ahhhh...I so miss you and Bounce!

Grandmother is booked the month of October, but we will see you at Tom's and maybe I can book her in November for a Bounce night.
