Thank you for the prayers

On last sunday as I typed a post to request prayers for my parents, I did not know they were leaving this earth for a better place.  They are no longer in pain or suffering with their many illnesses.

They were labeled "A Perfect Pair", they did everything together for the past 30 years and on sunday they both said their goodbyes and went to heaven together.

Although they are not suffering any longer, our hearts are sad they left us, but happy they are still together.

Thank you for all your prayers and please continue to pray for our strength.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I lost my mother last year to cancer and my heart feels for you,  I will keep you in my prayers as I know they are happy together with our heavenly father, but your family on earth is still hurting.

I think it very sweet that they were uplifted together to heaven, that is the power of true love right there and it is very special they passed together.

Again... sorry for your loss....

How awesome is our Heavenly Father!  I pray you find peace and comfort in knowing our Father has lovingly and mercifully taken your parents home together.  I pray that you find laughter and happiness in the memories your parents left behind and celebrate their life.  While there is sadness in your heart,  I pray that your grief is short term and soon turns to love, compassion and joy.  We are always here for you....and I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  In 2001, I lost my parents (my parents were divorced since I was a year and a half and both remarried) 6 days apart so I can sympathize on what you're experiencing.  I will keep you in good thoughts and prayers.

You absolutely are right, they are no longer in pain and are together.  I talk to my parents all the time, and I believe they answer me too because I am at peace.  I miss the hell out of them especially around the holidays but I took some advice from my old boss and I began doing a long tern craft project which I start in late Sept or Oct and it lasts generally about mid Nov. by the time my husband's family comes around and spends the holidays with us and I get busy with cooking, entertaining etc..  It helps SO much.

If you ever need to talk, I'm here for you.

Hugs and prayers!
Barb

Hello OH Family,

I have returned home from Arizona after a very busy week cleaning out my parents home and making final arrangements.  Again, just stopped in to say thank you for the prayers and kind words.  My parents will be laid to rest tomorrow 9/23, Riverside National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.

Please continue to keep me and the family in your prayers.
