Sorry I have been MIA, lots going on and fighting depression big time. I'm waiting for approval of new anti-depressant and hopefully will be back to feeling better soon. Having a physical and blood work in a few weeks too, so maybe they will find something else too that is making me so tired all the time.

I did get some bad news Thursday from my appointment with my hernia surgeon. (some of you know I've been having some issues) I definitely already have another hernia and something else is going on too as I am bigger now than right after surgery. Very swollen for some reason and miserable.  I am  waiting on the authorization for a Cat Scan  and then they will see for sure what is going on in there and I'll be going under the knife AGAIN!!! Not excited about this at all and not sure how work will take it, but can't do anything about that, it has to be done!!! My surgeon is baffled for sure and hoping something shows on the CT besides the hernia (which is not the swelling issue, seperate issue)  So, I will keep you updated, please keep me in your prayers!!!

Everyone have a great weekend. I work a rare day shift today helping out the Promotions Dept. with a slot tournament today, so that should be fun (I hope)! 9:30-5:30,  I get a Saturday night at home with family, woo hoo!!!!

Morning Rhonda and Cali!  By now I'm sure Rhonda and Michelle and all their hangers' on are out on their walk!  How fun!  Michelle - I'm sure you did great - I had the same dream when I was going to walk the bridge . . . that I was last and they came by with a van and made me get in . . . but that so did not happen!  Hope you guys have a ball!

I'm still recouping . . . everything aches . . . sleeping LOTS . . . and have to go to work at Costco today and tomorrow . . . but at least that will be a few dollars coming in . . .

I'm signed up to volunteer at the San Diego 3Day doing traffic control and (Nov 20-22) Friday and Sat . . .and then Paula is going to join me on Sunday at Petco Park for traffic control and sweep van duty . . . volunteers don't have to fund raise . . . so I'm on it!  It sounds like the Boobie Bandits are going to walk the San Diego walk next year . . . I'm going to crew it . . . not so hard on the hips (and a lot less fund raising also).

Have a great weekend everyone!  Oh . . . this is cool (I think) . . . I've dropped 12 lbs since being home last week . . . those dang salt and sugar and carbs ARE evil!  Now I have to remember what I was at in my last reported weigh in . . . lol  think I wrote it down somewhere!

Good Morning Rhonda and Cali Friends,

Whoo hoo on your walk Rhonda (give Gerry and the kids a hug for us) and Michelle (give Howard a hug from us too), you both had the biggest cheering section there walking with you so I know you did great!

Last night we went for dinner, all 5 of us, it was so much fun having Ron's Dad Bert come and you could tell he was having fun tioo.

Today will bring us to Costco and probably a few stops in between and tonight I am cooking up a rib fest in honor of Bert coming home (he LOVES ribs) and Isla's birthday on Monday.  Nothing on tap for tomorrow, but Lil and I will probably do some shopping somewhere!  I sure sound like I shop all the time, but mostly it's window shop or drop $5 or $10 somewhere, and it's usually WalMart or Target or my biggest addiction Michaels.  I am feeling the desire to paint my ceramic miniature Christmas village pieces again, so I may pay them a visit.  I also need to prep my hubby for the fact that I would like to add a couple of pieces to my yard art collection that we put up for Halloween and Christmas, and since he does such a great job of cutting out the wood with the jig saw,  it takes time to convince him that he"wants" to do this!  LOL

Hey Ms. Diane, where are you?  I miss your smilin' face, are you OK?  Did my visit last weekend do you in?  I hope not, please give Doug a hug for us.

Go Dodgers!! After being born and raised in southern California for 37 long years I have NEVER been to a game.  Today is my first!!!! I don't want to hear a peep from all you fans of the Hated Ones, aka the SF Gnats.

I'm going to have a Dodger dog today! Woot!!

Hey, hey, hey Monica, alls fair in love and baseball!  LOL!  Actually I'm a California Baseball fan but of course I have to root for the hometeam first.  My hubby is a Dogers fan too!  LOL

I am a BIGGER football freak... GO CAL BEARS!!! They are winning right now over the Minnesota Golden Gophers and I love my 9ers too!

I am sorry Monica, I can't help it, but PEEP! I am a die hard Giants fan. Have fun at the game though as live baseball is a beautiful thing. I was born in raised in NorCal so of course I am a Giants fan. Don't be like those annoying Dodger fans though that show up in the 2nd inning and leave in the 7th.

Thanks Everyone!  I had a great day so far!  My entire family, (even the babies) finished the 5k togethr ad the "FANTASTIC FOSTERS!" together holding hands!  We had a crowd cheering us across the finish line and it was wonderful.  The kids were so proud to finish and we did it in apx. 45 min.  I did not go for an exact time, but we finished about 15 or so min. before Michelle and she got her time,  Well I guess some people pay attention to what is going on Me I did not even know there was a time!  lol.  Heck Michelle told me about the protein bars apples and water and I had no clue that had those, heck I was getting gas when she told me about those, oh well too late for me.  One day I will learn to pay attention or maybe not.  WE shall see.  lol.  Thanks for all the good wishes.  Michelle did great she finished and that was her goal.  Congrats to her!
