GOOODDDDD MONDAY MORNIN" CALI!!!

Hope this day finds all you Cali Peeps in good health, happy and lovin' life!! I am feeling pretty good right now ...actually I am getting ready for bed (I hope sometime soon) For those of you that know me, know I am a true night owl. And even though my chest is still hurting like the dickens I got a lot done this weekend . Even with out of town company..Great visit and such wonderful friends. I got the weeds all pulled in the garden. and Grant (handy Kid) and I will be working or the new beds for next year this week. I have started beautifying my patio and the only thing I paid for was the spray paint and a few flowers and  ...Crisco the Fat a$$ dog decide yesterday he would be very naughty and dig up the flower beds that he has ignored totally for the last 2 weeks!!!! OHHHHH... is in  deep do-do!! Grrrr!! Anyway, I will be making a dump run today before it gets too hot and I will start cleaning up the area  of the NEW soon to be green house...I have been wanting a green house so I can get an earlier start on my garden each year for a couple years now and finally decide to just get busy and do it!!! 
OMG!!??? What did I do before I got all this energy and it isn't just the losing half of my former self, it is the change of medications... I feel more like the younger Joy that you would have to tie down ...Hmmmm... a little ADD recurrence ...yeah ! But besides that!! LOL It feels so good to feel this good!! And like I said it isn't just losing a skinny chick worth the weight but the change in several of my medication has made such a difference!!! I think this new Dr and I are going to do well together. Let's keep the fingers crossed.

Good Morning Joy or should I say good night as I see you posted before you went to bed!  lol.  It was still night at 11:59.  I hope you are in bed snoring right now and not awake after staying up that late.   I am glad you are feeling better and have some energy going!  That is a good thing. 

Well today back to the grind.  It is not a grind for me as anytime I can do what I love is fun.  So what else is new for today?  Nothing that I can think of at all.  I slept good and that is a good thing. 

Well I am going to go to farm, thanks Joy for the morning post.  It is so nice to see your face up there on the board for the day.  Take care all and have a super duper day!

Good Morning (or should I say Good Night) Joy and Cali Friends,

Happy Monday and a happy Birthday to my mother-in-law Isla.  We had such a great weekend, with shopping on Sat. and then I did dinner for all and we played dominoes.  Sun, Lil and I did a Michael's run and had lunch on the way back to SF.  My 49ers won, my Cal Bears won, it's all good!

Back to work today trying to get my feel firmly planted there. Tonight my father-in-law is taking all of us out to dinner for Isla's Birthday, chinese food.  Ron's not too thrilled but I will enjoy!  He's not a fan of Chinese food but Isla, Bert and I love it.

I hope everyone has a greatt day and remember it's gonna be hot out there so drink tha****er!

Good morning all,

It's Monday.....ya, I love Mondays only because I get to come to work and relax....lol  I have been so busy at work and the days go by so fast.  I brought tons of work home, but only got about half of it done...so today is going to be another busy day...trying to get everything done.  Tonight I am going to meet up with a few ladies for dinner before our support group meeting that our surgeons office does once a month.  Then when I get home around 9pm I want to do at least 30 mins of the wii fit...Love that thing!!!

I had a GREAT weekend and I was so excited I got my closet all cleaned out and organized!!!  ya me!!!

Good morning Cali,

Well I am finally home!  Got into Ontario on Friday afternoon and went to the wedding on Saturday.  No one recognized me ****il I spoke).  It was a good feeling but also bad.  I think to myself do I look that different?  Oh well life goes on.  Had a nice time at the route 66 car show it was nice to make it.  Have not been for 11 years since I moved up north.  Orlando was OK, I would have enjoyed it much more if DH and Ms. V could have joined me.

Looks like they are putting a package together to present to DH this week.  I hope it is today.  The recruiter is negotiating a few things for him since the salary is less than what he was making.  So I still have my fingers crossed and saying prayers.

Well crap you were down here, 6 miles from my house and I didn't know it???  What the hell, we could have had a little coffee or something, a small get together to meet you.  Now don't you do that again, or you will be in for a wet noodle beating.  Let me know, let someone know you are so close, would love to meet you.

By the way, next year, Dougie and I and good friends will be cruising the Route 66 in his t-bird

Hi Diane,

Mike and I were at Route 66 Friday night.  Thought we might see Doug there, but no such luck.  Guess you two sat it out this year.  There was a much smaller crowd there this year then last.  You could navigate the streets on foot with no problem.  But it was freaken hot, even for a Friday night and of course the usual group of downtown "residents" were out in full force, but then again so were the police.

Hope you are starting to feel better.

Wish I could tell you I was feeling great, but then that would be a lie.  These damn open holes in my spine are just taking forever healing and it pains me.  Can you say addicted to pain meds!!???  Doug didn't want to go, wish I would have known you were going he may have gone with ya.  I told him to, but he wanted to stay home, but he LOVES those cars, he just drools like a little boy.

I know all the "residents" come out,  but they are pretty behaved, at least when we were there, all we ever found were car lovers.  I think it was just going to be too hot and everyone knew that.  The next big car show which is not at all like Route 66, is the Loma Linda VA hospital car show.  A nice show to go along and go through vendors and see alot of nice cars on a much smaller scale.
