Hi everyone! new to the site

Just wanted to say Hi,
My name is Jenn and I had my RNY 6/2/09. I signed up for the site but this is my first time using it...i am slow i know . so far everything has been going well no problems. I started at 274 and as of this morning i am down to 192. Not really sure what else to add so ask away!
I cant wait to get to know you all!

I had my RNY on 3/26/08 and I have lost 131 pounds and feel terrific!!!

Hi Jenn! I'm Dee and I am new here as well, sorta. I signed up a while ago but have only begun utilizing this place the last few days. Congrats on the weight loss! I had my RNY on 9/14 and as of this morning, was down about 15 pounds, so not too bad I don't think.

Welcome Dee!  I just love seeing new faces pop up here.  And Welcome to the Loser's Bench..and I hope all is going well for you so far?  Neat thing about this site...people come from all over California...and like you, I have no idea where Marina is LOL  Time to Google I guess ;-)  We are the place for support, encouragement and advice...so come back often and hope to see more of your postings!

Hi Jenn and welcome to the California board. Congrats on your weight loss surgery (wls) journey. You are doing great. The Cali board is where it is at.  If you have questions, concerns, or just want to post then do so as the OH members on the Cali board are a great bunch of people.
I had RNY on August 10, 2007 and lost approximately 130 lbs and because of a new medication my doctor has me on I have gained 12 lbs back so I will probably go off that medication.  I didn't have surgery to gain it all back!

Welcome, welcome, welcome. You have come to the right place.
Great job on the weight loss. It is amazing how well you will feel. Had my surgery 9-16-2008, I have lost 132 pounds, went from size 26-28 down to a size 8. I haven't been that size since I was born in 1953!!!LOL!!!
Keep up the great work and ask anything you want, there are great people on this Cali Board.

Welcome Jenn!  Looks like I might be the first from our neck of the woods to say hello...I'm in Sacramento.  Congratulations on a great beginning of your journey..82lbs...Fantabulous!!  As the others have stated...we're the place for support, encouragement and advice ^_^  Hope to see alot more of you!

Wow you ladies are awesome..couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome!  I cant wait to get more involved on here…can you guys tell me the difference between the daily post one here? Like the move to lose, wacky weigh in, daily thanksgiving and the WDYET?     Barb- Do you do these luncheons every month? I cant make it this weekend but will try for next month if you have it.  I have my 3 month check up in concord today, everything should go fine with the blood work they took from me….wow it was a lot
