Hi all I have not been on this site in a few years. It feels good to come back to I had my surgery in Sep 2005. And now I am gaining weight and feel just awful. I am looking to make some friends online and off people who understand what I have gone through with weight loss. Believe it or not I do not know anyone in person who has had the weight loss surgery . I feel very lost. I went to the chat room on this website but no one there talks, Does anyone know anyother weight loss chat rooms. I would like to find someone near my area to walk with and chat with. And how to I get back on the wagon I have fallen off. thank you in advance for your help. I am in Northern California in Hayward. I find that certain foods do not make me sick like they used too and that my stomach can hold more then it used to I am scared to gain anymore weight  first it was 5,10,15 and now I havev gained 28 POUNDS and I am going to try and start all over from the beginning and try and find my way.

Greetings and welcome back!  We're having our Nor Cal luncheon this Sat in Concord at Mimi's (see earlier post) and hope you might join us.  I know you'll find support, caring and lots of great people there for friendship.  We do a monthly get together and next month are planning a road trip to Apple Hill for crafts and fun.

You'll lose that weight, download Fit Day and start to journal your food, it's my biggest challenge but I am most successful when I am aware of my intake.

Hugs and welcome back,
Barb

Welcome back.  First of all, you have taken the first step to getting yourself back on track.  There are alot of people that gain weight, we just need to get back to the basics and work on that.  You go back to your proteins, lay off the carbs and start in with a lot of water again.  Also Barb, whom I just met, and love to death, is correct about using fitday.  Also if you do get a chance to get to go to the luncheon, it would be a great chance to meet some really great people.  I think it would be a great big step in the right direction.

I hope to see you posting more, there are alot of us struggling, and we are all here for each other.  Join in on our Wacky Wednesday Weigh in.  Will help keep you accountable too.  Know we are all here for each other.

Wishing you the best,

Diane
