I walked 2 miles today.  It took about 45 mins.  I thought I would do it in a shorter time, but each day will get better.  I am happy you started this post too.  I look forward to reporting on my progress!

cool thread!!  So today I did 3 miles around the neighborhood, and it took about 40 minutes.  I didn't feel like going on the long route today.  I really need to hit a gym, 'cause I need to build up my upper body.  I was thinking about 24hr Fitness, only because that's the closest one to me, with Bally's about another mile farther down the road.  Maybe I'll stop by this weekend.

there's that nice new 24 right off of Archibald & the 60.  I see it when I go to my bro's house.

Today is Crossfit day. I did this:

My partner and I did 8 rounds (I think) with a 36 lb. sandbag (we got the heaviest one because we let some of the new people get the lightest ones) and I don't know how many kettlebell swings I did but it was definitely over 200.

I love Crossfit. You can exercise more in 20 min. than doing an hour strength & conditioning class at the gym.

I never sit down on my job......so I think that counts here.

At work today I:

Walked the baby for 60 minutes.
Vacuumed their house, did the dishes by hand and made all the beds.
Cleaned all the rooms
Carried the baby for at LEAST an hour total
Swam with two four-year olds for 60 minutes (whi*****uded the catch me if you can underwater games)

I know I'm underestimating on some of these times too.  I swear, after work, I feel like I've run a marathon.  That has to count for some activity I think.

BTW.....the swimming part has to be a WOW moment for me.  I actually took off my clothes and wore a bathing suit in front of people in the pool.  No one looked at me like I was the fat lady.  It felt AWESOME!
