Good Morning

Good morning Jean and all of California,

Smoke...there is so much smoke here.  That Yucaipa fire, which is by no means as bad as some of them lately, is causing me alot of problems.  I think the smoke combined with the heat is making it worse.  The smell of burning is so thick in the air.  Even with A/C on last night, I woke up about 3AM with an asthma attack.  Thank goodness for my inhaler.  I'm definitely coughing alot this week.  Oh well, I'll stop complaining about that.  At least I'm not one of those great fire fighters out there trying to battle all the blazes.  As Diane said, I don't know how they do it.

Today should be an average day.  Just work and then bowling tonight.  I'm really enjoying bowling this year.  Our new team mates are really nice.  We've known them from the league, but they needed to pair up with someone else this year and so we all got together.  It's been great.  I think it's definitely going to be a fun year.

OK, time to get some coffee and get busy here.  Hopefully this day won't go as slow as yesterday did.  I didn't think 5PM would ever get here.  I know I would go out of my mind not working.  I'd be bored to tears, but I wish I could just work part time.  3 or even 4 days a week would be perfect for me.  Oh well, dream on I suppose.  As everyone says, just be grateful that I have a job.

Hello!

Well, today brings a restful day for me...going to go see how much it would cost to upgrade my gym membership.  I found classes I'd like to take M-F at the "sport" version of 24 hour fitness... M,W,F - Aqua class  and t,th  Low impact aerobics.  I wonder if I can get the guts to put on a bathing suit at the gym :)  ha ha  Ive been swimming in my friends pool lately.. we'll see.

I walked 2 miles this morning!  I was very proud of myself.  I don't know if I am ready to do it everyday but maybe every other day!  I don't have any plans for the weekend.  I hope my DH plans on getting some rest.  He has been working so hard and also working on a project with my son.  My DIL called and asked me to help her in her classroom on Monday and Tuesday.  They are testing.  She teaches 1st grade.  I am so excited!  I love little kids.
