Did you Move to Lose Today.......Where are all the Guys?

Good morning all,

Its that time of the day to report on what you have done to by Moving to Lose LOL.....As always anything counts so just post it.

Now the question is.......Where the heck are the guys on the forum? Come on guys, dont leave me holding the bag here. We need to be represented as well. We might have to excuse Gus though.......He says hes going to be dancing until 4am.......Thats alot of moving.

For me, I just got back from a doctors appointment and I am going to bypass my evil treadmill today. Knee is just hurting to much today. But will be walking this evening at the park with Jenji and whoever else wants to come. Hopefully we will get in a couple miles today and that will make up for the treadmill.

Ok.. I swept the garage and walked to see what was going on down the street.  Thus so far..

Hi Rick,

I didn't move it at all .   I commuted 2 hours to work, worked 8 hours, then drove to my Mom's house for dinner.  My only "movin" was walking around the office some and out to the parking lot to thaw out from the AC being too dang cold in my office.   

Well I did do my facial exercises - if that counts.  I learned that one from my support group leader that facial exercises help prevent the sagging neck so I am all over that!      Guys don't have that issue if they shave, because they do those funny face movements daily, but women don't.  So I sit there and make my funny faces, like I am saying the vowels of the alphabet really extravagently.  So I moved my face, and I moved my fingers on the keyboard. 

Better than being a couch potato I guess.

Hey Rick
Ok, I admit I flaked out on the daily walk here at work but I'm using work load as an excuse.  It's Friday and I am determined to clear this desk of all this week's 'projects'!  So, tonight I will make my 'hooked to the hip' chuhuahua, Trudy, estactic by taking her for a good 2 mile walk when I get home.

And on that note, I WALKING down the hall to get my lunch...and then WALKING back to my office to eat it ^_^

I walked 2 miles again today.  I wasn't sure I could do it 2 days in a row but I surprised myself.

Gonna do my walk at work again tonight. I did more of chasing the ball I was bouncing around than walking. I kept losing control of it. Ummmm.... Also gonna do walk away the pounds and gonna try to get a bike this weekend so I can ride when I get off of work.

I finally got my rear in gear and went to 24 Hr Fitness and rode the recumbant bike for 30 min which gave me 5 miles at level 5...phew!   Its been awhile since I've done that.  My daughter goes nearly everyday, no reason for me not to join her!  I am staying busy with my civic work and getting some upgrading started on my house...no time to sit around munching if I get myself to the gym!!  I just have to ignore the heat...ugh!

Well it is a day late but on wensday hubby and I walked the Disneyland park from 10:00 till 8:00 that evening it was his b-day, yesterday I baked cookis for a family picnic that is coming up next sat. There is a lot to do when you do your stuff and another person's that would be my mom and she tells me all the time to slow down and rest.

Hi Rick,
I did my move today- just got back from a 2 1/2 mile walk.  I try to walk everyday at least a mile.  I don't seem to mind the heat as much anymore since I lost so much weight!

what's u*****just one of the guys checking in here.  I did a 50min/15mi. stationary bike ride today.  I would usually hit the streets, and do a little walking and jogging, but for some reason my knee is acting a little funny.  So I opted for the ultra low impact bike today.  I'll probably baby the knee on the bike until next Saturday when I do a 5k for a charity through my work.
