OT: Well. It's Official...(Updated)

Thanx Jillie...23 years married, 26 years together as of my b'day on Sept. 13, 1 adult/married child.

Wow, 23 years must be the magic number.  That is how long I was married before our split.  It was friendly in the beginning, then became VERY acrimonius, and now I just don't care as long as he pays his child support and doesn't cause the boys grief.

I don't know you really, but from what I have seen, you appear to be a very resourceful person.  You will survive this.  You will end up better because of it.  Honest, I promise!  Just don't wallow in self pity.  Give yourself a time to mourn, then step up and move on with life.  Living well is the very best thing you can do for yourself.

Lean on your church people.  That is what they are there for, for support.  Also, everyone here is a great support as well.

Just thinking, but while you look for work, you might not want to sit home by yourself.  Maybe you can volunteer at a local food bank or ????  This will get you out of the house and will be sure to lift your spirits tremendously.

Again, thinking of you and knowing you will become a better person from this experience.

I am sorry that you have to go through this emotional turmoil. Its never a good thing, but always remember God closes one door, and opens another. Its the hallway that is hell. I will be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. I am here, if you just need to vent.
