Hi Rhonda and So Cal Friends.  Rhonda, it was great to finally meet you.  It was great meeting and chatting with most everyone yesterday.  There were so many people that I did not get a chance to say hello to everyone; however, there is always next month.
WIshing everyone a great day and week to come!

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Afternoon Rhonda and Cali gang
Apparently, I was successful at posting my lunchon pictures thru photobucket...at least Lil Michele was able to pull them up thru the link I posted.  Whewwww...my brain has been fried! LOL  Took me a couple of hours to transfer the pixs from the camera, rename and resize them to the computer...then another hour or so teaching myself photobucket.  If I'm honest here, photobucket was relatively easy....just haven't taxed the gray cells this much in a while LOL

Yesterday's lunch was totally great!  Had a couple of new faces which is always fun and exciting.  Deb who is only 10 days out and Gail who is I think! 2 weeks out...were looking great and doing even better! So exciting to see newbies come out and join in the fun and support.  And Mimi's was so accomodating and friendly!  Barb and I were even able to round up a couple of cute bus boys to carry all the clothes out to Barb's car.   I know businesses are hurting and will do just about anything to keep people coming in , but  the Manager made a point of checking in on us to make sure everything was going well and made a point of letting us know we were welcome anytime. And the food was not bad, either LOLOL

Went over to Barb's for a little bit afterwards and then took the 'tourist' route back to the 680...Garmin got me lost!!  He didn't go the way Barb told me to...and I ended up going thru downtown Concord (I think that's where I was LOL****il I finally 'ran into' the 680.  Never paniced tho...had the trusty cell phone and knew Barb and Ron weren't far away ;-)  Anyway, made it home about 10 minutes after Lon got home from teaching his carving class.

Watched a fantastic movie from Netflix....The Departed...what an intense film!  Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Knickelson, Martin Sheen...a fantastic cast  and Scorcesse got Best Director and Best Film for 2006.  I highly recommend it!!

Today is just sitting on my butt playing with the computer and learning new programs.  Actually, I rather enjoy getting into the computer...just normally don't have the time to give it my full attention.  It's over 100 degrees so going outside so far today has been out of the question :-(  Maybe a walk with the dogs later...after the temps go back to 'sanity'! LOL

Hope everyone had a great and relaxing Sunday...tomorrow most of us return 'to our normally programmed station'...work...what an awful 4-letter word...but it does pay the bills ;-)
Hugs to all!!
Nancy

Good Day everyone,

Had a great time yesterday at the SC COFFEE.  What fun it was, and everyone was so wonderful and kind.  Kirsten surprised the crap out of me, when her and Kevin showed up.  We had a nice lunch with quite a few of us.  Then I took Miss Rhonda out for a day of fun.  She was SOOOO close to getting a tatoo yesterday on her boobie, but the guys couldn't make it small enough for her.

Today I feel like I had a truck had hit me.  I am so frickin tired and I don't know why.  Sitting most of the day, why does that make you so tired?  We had a great morning at the HiDesert brunch today.  Food was good, but the friendship was so much more.  I got to see Stephaine and Mike whom I have not seen since my day of surgery.  Mikey even played a video of me in the hospital that first night.  All you could hear was me, talking, drugged attemting to hold a conversation with him and Steph.  Gee**** was fun.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful day.  I am in my chair, sitting here and not complaining I have nothing to do.  I am happy to be home and inside, it is WELL over 104 here today...sucks.

Hugs 2 all. Diane
