Good day all,

Here is the post for the day to tell us all what you did to Move to Lose today. I am just amazed with all the responses you are posting and I just think it is AWESOME !!

Here is the challenge........Most of the OH'ers in our walking group have gone and got a pedometer so we can see the distance that we have walked. I purchased the application for my iPhone and keep it running for most of the day no matter what I am doing. So if you can, go to Wal Mart or ? and get a pedometer and keep it on all day including your workouts and lets see how many miles we can accumilate over the next month or so. I will try to keep track and will post weekly totals like on WWW

The goal according to the government is 10,000 steps a day. I have only been able to achieve just under 6000 and thats with our nightly walk LOL.

For me I will be on my treadmill in a few minutes and then will do the nightly walk. We are changing locations tonight because of the Annual Mayor's gala being held at the park we usually go to. Will let you know where we end up

Have a great day all and get moving................Rick

Rick,

Awesome idea. I just need to find my pedometer and I'll be good to go.  I woke up with a scratchy sore throat so I am not doing my planned walk along the cliffs in Santa Cruz today which annoys me, but I can't get sick. I just can't!!

I walked 2 miles today and shaved about 5 minutes off of my time.  I was not as tired today either!

There is a website www.mapmywalk.com that you can map your walk and it tells you how far you walked and you can keep track of your workouts.  You have a lot of options for workouts.  It is free too!
