YOU LOOK MARVOULOOOOOOOS MONDAY!

Ok Gang the weekend was a blast!  I am still tired!  lol  and I took a nap yesterday too!   Well today is You Look Marvoulouoooooos Monday.  Today you have to spiff yourself up and look Marvouloooooos even if you feel pooped!  It is going to be the rules!   lol!  so spritz on that fancy perfume you only wear on hot dates.  Put on those new earings or be like shopgirl and steal Rhonda's new purse!  (I found it fair and square!  I have no idea why you would just not take Kim's purse and let me keep mine!)   There is an old saying if you look good, you feel good and if you feel good you do good.  So today lets look good, feel good and do good.  I am going to give it a shot as I don't look so hot, feel exausted, but I vow to do some good work today!  Up for the challange?  I hope so.  Thanks everyone for such a beautiful weekend.  Diane you spoiled me, Jean you are amazing and I looked good, nope HOt in the new hair!  Hubby loved it!  Well off to get some work done and my environmental reports completed for the week.  Talk to you all soon.  I want to hear what you did to look good today!

Good morning Rhonda and Cali Friends,

Rhonda, you inspire me to always look good!  But today, I'll be even better!  When I get to work, my boss and her grandson over the weekend moved my office!  Whoo hoo!  So now all I have to do is wait for the computer to move and I can "spiff" it up and make that look like mine too. 

This week brings nails done (thank goodness) and hair cut/color and I am going to help one of my fellow sax players with his resume.  He and I have played sax together for 10 years, he was in high school when I met him and now he is completing his Masters in Psychology.  He's like my kid and I'm like his Mom, in fact he tells me all his girlfriend trouble and asks me advice.   He never had a great relationship with his Mom and I never had a son, so it's a great friendship. He's a sweet kid and he and Ron share bass guitar playing.

Well best get moving this morning.  I hope everyone has a great day and week ahead.

Good morning Rhonda and Cali,

Well today is Ms V's first day back at daycare and she cannot wait to go!  She wanted me to pack her bag last night.  We had a great day with my FIL took him to lunch and then a drive to half moon bay, then back to SF.  Checked out the Skechers store in the mission district they do not carry the shape up walking shoes.  The poor manager has said he has had several requests and feels bad he has yo send folks to another store in the city.  Mine should be here on Wednesday, I hope they help to tone my legs and butt!

I am going to get dressed as if I were going to a site and not my family room to work!  Everyone have a great day.

I also had a blast of a weekend, just to fast.  So CA Coffee was great...wow, what a turn out.  I would have loved to stay for lunch and enjoy more of the friendship, but I had prior commitment...maybe next time.

Rhonda, I have to agree with you...look good, feel good, and do good!!!  That is my motto!!! 

Today I need to call the pediatrician, my poor little baby (granddaughter) is so sick...she has a runny nose and a bad cough, plus I think she is getting that stupid MRSA back...I want to get her into see the doctor as soon as I can so she can give her a prescription so we can nip the MRSA in the butt and she does not have to be hospitalized.  Please say a little prayer for my poor Angel. 

I am getting so excited for my plastic surgery...3 weeks from today!!!!  It's funny, but after I had a my gallbladder out...it got so sick in the hospital and I told my DH this is it...NO MORE SURGERY, but now having this surgery schedule...I am so excited.  I guess it is because this is something that I have always wanted and I just can't believe that day is going to be here.

Well, I better get back to work, since I am going to be leaving early.

Good Morning All!  I am up at this bright and early hour because I had to call into work and take a vacation day.  Because............ there are about a zillion worker bees coming to finish destroying my kitchen.  Destroying?  Well, they're scraping out the lino, cutting out dry wall and cupboard bottoms that need to be replaced.  All the soggy stuff is going away. 

While they're working, I have a movie to watch and my back room to work in - craft supplies to organize and carpet to come out.

I went out this weekend and picked up some hardwood samples and , yes, some laminate samples.  I really don't want to put laminate back in, but Joe does................... I am going to win this battle  It is either going to be tile or hardwood   In a room that gets water leaks, I'm thinking tile!  So, I am going to go to the discount tile store and see if there is anything there I like.

Mom and Dad came down yesterday and we went to Costco and Food Max.  I went just to hang out and to get my shopping done and ended up with a basket of food as a present from them!  Wow!  Plus they threw in 3 7# bags of protein powder, and a bunch of vitamins.  they do love me!

I'm outta here.  time to shower, time to get ready for the worker bees!

Great seeing you yesterday Rhonda even for the short time we were there.  Got home and both Mike and I looked at the bed and both said, NAP and that is what we did.  It was a great Sunday.

Today it is back to work with a long week looming ahead of me.  I'm just so ready to not have to work full time, but I know that won't be for many years yet, so I better just get out of this slump I'm in and get back to being productive.  I can't believe it's almost October already and tax season will be here before I know it.  3 1/2 months of hell as I like to call it. 

OK, enough boo hoo from me.  I'm going to refill my coffee cup and get busy.  Hope everyone has a great day and do something great for yourself.

Good morning to everyone!

I think with all the stress I've had in my life lately my body finally said "Enough!" and I woke up yesterday morning sick.  Harley was so sweet and he did all the laundry, mopped a floor and did all the cooking, so I'd stay in bed. 

I'm off work today.  I'm supposed to go meet with our financial guy this morning, but I just left him a message to call me back so we can set up another time.

So today's plan then is  a thirty minute run, clean the house and pack.  Now, I won't be putting on my best clothes and perfume for that part, Rhonda, BUT when Harley gets home we're going to the U Haul place to get our trailer hitch and then going to my exhusband's for some boxes.  And you HAVE to know I will dress to the 9's when seeing the ex.  Sheesh, I'm such a beyotch when it comes to that.  I just like to remind him of what he lost and won't ever have again. MEAN MEAN JANEENE!   Trust me, he deserves it.  The only part that makes me hesitate when doing this to the ex is that he goes crying to our boys then.  I mean literally crying.  Then my boys call me, half laughing, telling me to stop.  I'm so bad.

So, I'm gonna pull myself together and go run.

Good morning Rhonda and Cali Crew!

What a wonderful weekend! Had a fantastic time at the So Cal Coffee. Great location, Jean. I came away with quite a few clothes. I really like them, thank you to all who brought clothes. But, I am really looking forward to bringing them back and exchanging them for a smaller size, lol. Thank you again to (Little) Michele for letting me carpool with you. I love talking with you. You are such a wonderful person. I was so lucky this weekend! I got to see Rhonda, Diane, and Doug on both days! I love seeing and talking to everyone and meeting new friends!
Yesterday brought the High Desert Brunch. I was able to bring DH to that. It was very nice, had a great time. Thank you Sue for making the arrangements for us. Afterwards, brought a trip to Target, where they had all their leftover school supplies on clearance for 75% off! They had spiral notebooks for 12 cents!! So I bought 1, lol....  We then headed home to watch Sunday night football. I told Rhonda about the notebooks and so she picks me up and we head back to Target to pick up some more. I think she about cleaned them out! Lol... just kidding  We had a nice time chatting and catching up.
Today brings some errands and run of the mill chores. I am really looking forward to the LB Marathon and hopefully getting together with the OH'ers the night of the 10th. I am so grateful to Annette and Arnold for opening up their house to me that weekend, so that I can participate in the 5k. I really appreciate it, Annette. Thank you very much.

Good Morning Rhonda and it was a great So Cal Coffee get together.  I am sorry I missed the lunch and the fun afterward.  I look forward to seeing everyone next month at the So Cal Coffee.  Just noticed it falls on Saturday, October 31st.
