WOW, what a week it has been for me. My sinus have been very mean to me. But I think I won that battle and I am starting to breath once again, throw my nose. The smoke and ash has not be nice to me. But the clouds have lifted and I can see clearly now. LOL

I don't have much to tell you all about, I have not been doing much of anything so nothing new in my life. My nephew is graduation from the boot camp is the Friday so I am heading down to San Diego on Thursday after work so I don't have to fight the traffic on Friday morning to get there by 10. I have no clue where I am going, but will map quest it and hope to find it. Its so hard to believe how fast that time has passed. He will be home for a few days before heading off to somewhere to learn something. I am sure he told me, I can't remember. This morning I want to go and get some meat and make him some beef jerky to take to him on Friday, he love the stuff I make. It should be a good day already.

So what have I missed? Anyone get married? have a baby? win the lotto? get a job? get a new BETTER job? In other words. What has everyone been up to???

Yeah someone got married. Phillip my little boy got married. The groom was handsome and the birde beautiful . Mother of the groom danced with him and cried.  Daughter and her husband was here. They went home. Mother sad.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

I have missed your posts, but I know you've been busy with work and all.  Happy graduation to your nephew and please thank him for us for his service.  My cousin is a life time Marine who is stationed down there, he and his wife are expecting a baby in Nov.  the Marine's has done wonders for him and he loves it.

Well, I need to be at work early today and take finger scans for a new time clock system, so I need to take my turn and scan fingers all morning!  Tonight I am writing a resume for my sax playing friends whom I've know since he was in high school, he'lll be joining Ron and I for dinner too.  He's a great kid and will graduate with his MA in Psych this Spring and wants to go on to teach.

Other than that, not much else is new.  I do have this darn old cough and stuffy nose which is driving me batty!  I am the worst patient when I get a bug, but I feel pretty lucky, this is the first time since my surgery in Jan that I have not felt really great, so I guess I was about due.

Good morning Lu and everyone!!!

Congratulations to you nephew and as Barb said,,,please Thank him for serving our county!!!

As for me....it feels like I am trying to get this nasty cold back....so I started doubling up on my vitamin C...I can't get sick or they will have to postpone my plastic surgery and I don't want that to happen. 

I had to come into work early...4:30am, because I have to leave at 9:30 to take my granddaughter to see her doctor.  I took her to urgent care yesterday and that was a 3 hour wait, but she was soooo good!!!   I just don't understand how it could be a 3 hour wait when you are number 10 on the list and the PA comes in and only spends about 2 minutes with you...I know my math isn't that great, but 2 minutes times 10 sure doesn't equal 3 hours. 

Then after the doctors I am going home and both her and I are going to take a nap.  Well, that is the plan right now...we'll see later!!!

Good Morning Lu and Cali Guys and gals.

Nothing new here in Fosterville.  Same old same old thing.  Kids, kids a dog and some more kids.   OOPs throw in som laundry here and there too.

WEll slept fantastic last night.  It was great.  I have not slept that good in months.  Well today I don't know what is in store, I will know once I get started.

I never have gotten the beef jerky I have heard so much about!  Maybe one day.

Good morning Cali,

Not much going on today.  I am trying to get my report completed but my staff is till working so it will go over into next fiscal year-oh well so it goes!  Went for a 3 mile walk yesterday, it is amazing that it does not even bother me to do this anymore.  I really had no problem walking before I would get tired a little and rest my fat butt.  Now I just keep going.  Got some new shoe and they seem to be great still waiting for my walking tennis shoes that are suppose to help tone your legs and butt!

Congrats on your nephews graduation.  I got to see my daughters boyfriend graduate at Pendleton a could of years ago.  It was really cool.  Get there early so you can get good parking.  We had to walk forever because you can't cross the parade field.  You have to walk all the way around it and it is so big.  We spent the night out there too.  Enjoy yourself.

Nothing planned for me.  I am just going to finish this day out at work and then go home and take a nap.  I have been fighting a cold forever and it has kept me up for 3 nights now.  I have been coughing my brains out.  I need to go get something for it.

Another boring day back under full house arrest! Sure will be glad when this is all over.

Had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics over the weekend, full body rash. Those have been changed, rash is slowly going away and we go back to the Dr tomorrow to check on the drain.

Sucks to be me right now! Do you think I'll really look back on this in a year and think it was no big deal? Right now I'm not so sure.

Maybe we can get a puppy play date together soon and I bet that would cheer you right up!  What are you doing Sunday?  I maybe able sneak out your way, but only if you have a starbucks with an outdoor sitting are.  hint hint.
