Did you Move to Lose Today
Good day all,
Its that tiem of day again where you share with us how you Moved to Lose today. As usual, everything counts......
Thanks to everyone that posted what their distance was yesterday. WOW I could'nt believe the numbers for just one day. We all walked, ran, biked and just moved a total of 40.15 miles yesterday. You all should be proud of what you done.
Today, I am finding myself being a slug as it were. I over did it on my treadmill yesterday and then went on the walk up at the park. Came home feeling not to well. So I am going to do my Pilates Workout and then do the walk with the group tonight. I am proud of one thing....My wife joined us last week and she has lost 4 pounds in a week.....Gave her some good motivation to keep going with us.

Hey Rick! Sorry your body has rebeled and making you slow down. But better to be smart than sorry!
I just returned from getting my 2.4miles in with the coworker. Yesterday I did 4 laps...she only did 3. Today I guess she didn't like being left behind..she made the 4th lap today LOL My goal is to make 5...but right now the feetsies are letting me know not yet. :-( It really is nice to have someone to walk with...she's young enough to be my daughter and we have a fairly good working relationship. Thanks to her, I'm motivated to get out of the office and walk and because she goes with me, I'm not as self-conscious ^_^
Hope you get to feeling back up to par, Rick, and congrats on leaving that plateau behind! ^_^

Hey gonna do some more deep cleaning at work and my normal walking. I am going to try and get a walk in on my lunch break but we will see how I feel. I did pretty good without an official walk last night. I will update when I get home from work how many steps I had...

** Update... I did 6912 steps today. I would have done more but my right hip was really hurting me today. But I am still proud of that considering I was in pain and didn't just sit on my arse and mold the chair :p

I know that what I do is not near what everyone else does, but when Doug comes home tonight, I am going to do half the stairs and try and get more strength in my legs. The more I walk the more my brain will automatically take over the walking, and everystep will be easier. It's a big deal for me to be doing this.....thanks for posting this, and Rick take care and if you body says no, don't pu**** Sometimes it needs a day of rest. Listen to what your body says. I have had more doctors tell me that this month than every before.

Just seeing ya on the board posting is great...... Every thing you do counts no matter what and considering the pain you must be in and your back, I say going up and down the stairs is AWESOME....

Diane! Just remember...if you go UP, you gotta come back down! And vice versa!! Just to get back to where you started...so I'm shaking my finger at ya
don't YOU over do it!! Please heed your own advice...you have been doing sooo good on your recovery...and I know all the LB/So Cali folk so enjoy seeing you at the luncheons. One step at a time, Dear Lady...keeping you in my prayers that those darn holes hurry up and heal over

Sorry Rick I have been hit and miss on posting to this, today I walked 3 miles. Yesterday I walked 3.25 miles. I have been trying to do it all at once yesterday I went out twice once by myself (2.75 miles) and then with my family (.5 miles). we enjoyed our evening walk.
