Did you Move to Lose Today

Greetings everyone,

Well its that time again were we all tell how we "Moved to Lose" today. I just wanted to give a quick thanks to everyone participating and making this idea a success. I didnt know how people would take it but it is AWESOME so far.

We have a number from yesterday and its great. We all walked, biked, ran, chased grand kids, went up and down stairs for a total of 34.75 miles. Thats a two day total of 74.90 miles in just 2 days  Thats almost from here (where I live) to San Diego..........Woo Hoo

We wont be walking at the park tonight because of the famous Fontana Winds that are blowing. So for me its back on the treadmill.

Anyway just post how you Moved to Lose today and remember everything counts no matter what it is..........We just need to keep moving

Hi Rick,

I managed to sneak in a 30 minute walk on Tuesday, but I've worked 3 12 hour days this week and on top of that I have my 2 hour round trip commute. I've been tired. Today though, I don't have to work past 5 pm. Yipee!! I am going to hit the gym afterwork and probably do 35 minutes on the eliptical and spend time on the weight machines. I may even be able to do this on Friday too. We shall see.

Great job on the mileage totals for the group!

I only got in 1.2 miles today (20min) as my darn shoes caused a blister on my heel :-( Time to go shoe shopping..not one of my favorite things...I'm too picky and usually a season late on styles. LOL  I'll make up the distance tonight by getting on the bicycle and riding 1 1/2 miles around the neighborhood and park.

I will add, cus I'm PROUD of myself!  My coworker didn't want to walk today ...so I went by myself!!  ^_^ 6months ago that would never happen..way too self conscious.  So we're making progress, Snoopy LOLOL

Yesterday, I got 2.8 miles in on the treadmill and did a 40 min weight lifting workout. Tonight will just be the treadmill-probably about the same distance or just a bit farther.

I walked 1 mile today. It was so nice.  The sky was so blue!  It is in the low 80's.  What else could a person want!

I am gonna be walking again at work... I feel like I start so late in the day but that is how my work schedule is :(

Hopefully I will be getting in more steps tonight but my right hip was really hurting last night so we will just have to see.

** update I did 3875 steps today. I took it really easy considering my hip is hurting pretty bad today :(

Today I walked an hour and a different route.  I turns out it was 3 1/4 miles.  The weather is nice today so I just kept going.  Now I have to get back at it and decide what to make for dinner.

My moving was walking through Target and Ralphs.  I'm off to clean the inside of my car.

Today I slowed it down a notch, but stretched it out a little longer.  I ended up with 17miles in one hour on the bike today.  Tomorrow will be an off day so I can rest for Saturdays 5k.
