I was in Target getting things for my son's class room, and there I was walking in the halloween stuff browsing the candy offerings and I didnt touch a single bag, I didnt pick one up, I didnt buy one!!! I didn't even notice what I was looking at until it was the last lane of HUGE bags of candy!!!

Also I had class lastnight, and I lost 3.8 pounds in two weeks I only need 2.7 more before reaching my 10% reqiured loss!!!!

God bless our troops

Whoo-hoo! That is so awsome, Katrina! I am very proud of you. First for the candy incident and double proud of you for your weight loss! You are doing an awsome job! These classes are going fast, huh? I knew they would. You are on your way to home base now! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Hmm, I wonder if they would egg my house if I passed out sugar-free candy? Lol! Nah, I'm just sticking with pencils and erasers like I do every year!

Hugs, friendship, & support,

Michelle T.

Congrats on staying away from the evil candy. I think that is going to be a hard thing for me but I will stay away. Also congrats on the loss and being so close to your 10% I am so proud of you.... We're almost at the finish line.

That is great about the candy, I was in our Target yesterday too.  I got my grandson a Micky Mouse Halloween DVD.  I am 3 weeks out and to look at the candy still makes my stomach turn.  Congratulations on your weight loss.  You will be having that surgery before you know it!

Great job!  You are already changing your mindset and the proof was that you didn't even notice the candy!  That is wonderful progress.  Great job on the weight loss too, you can do this, you are doing this.

Just as you walk into Costco, there are mountain size displays of Halloween candy. You would have to be blind to avoid seeing this. I had a pang of sadness realizing Halloween will never mean eating candy again. I am 4 months out from surgery and have these moments where I am saying goodbye to a lot of traditions.  I know if I eat that crap, it will make me sick and put pounds back on.

For those of you who haven't had the surgery yet and said "NO". That is an amazing accomplishment!
