OOOH GUS Today is the Day it is FRIDAY!
First off.........I get my KITCHEN back today. It's off quarrantine LOL! Actually, They're finished with the clean up and all the tests come back clear so they have a little bit of clean-up to do on the baseboards and to put the appliances back in and we're good to go. So, being the over-achiever glutton for punishment type person I thought to myself........"Self, before you put all this crap back in your kitchen, you really should take the time this weekend and PAINT. OMG - it makes just way too much sense, so I have to do it. Actually, I'm going to host a painting party Saturday night with me and 2 girlfriends and WINE!
Tonight I have to help a friend from work take a tree up to her boyfriends house. Then I have to rush down the hill to physical therapy, Then I'm scheduled to head to Red Bluff to a jewelry party. Saturday morning is bill paying and my boss's retirement party is Saturday evening. Then home with paint and girlfriends. Sunday afternoon is putting the kitchen back together if the paint is all dry.
Monday - back to work to rest.
And, all this is without the benefit of caffeine! I've been caffeine free for over a year now. How, I'll never know, but .......

Hopefully today will go by quickly and I can get started on what is sure to be a busy weekend. Not sure what we are doing this evening, but I'm pretty sure it will involve my doing some tax class reading. Tomorrow is tax class all day and then I'm not sure. We might just come home or might have dinner with my son or might go to my sister's in Pasadena. I think we'll probably decide by the end of class tomorrow. Sunday will be a busy day. I must do some laundry in the morning then we have theater tickets for Tap Dogs at 3PM followed by dinner at a friend's house. Looking forward to Sunday but with Sunday comes the realization that Monday follows. So I'll just not think about that now and just enjoy the fact that today is Friday and it's time for the weekend.
Time to get another cup of coffee and get busy. I hope everyone enjoys their Friday and has an awesome weekend and remember, do something wonderful just for yourself.

Good Morning lovely Rhonda!!
I think that the 5k begins first and then the Half & Full Marathoners begin an hour later. So, I will try to hang around a while and catch you guys at the six-mile mark, it runs by the finish/start line. Last year Kirsten Kevin and Liz waited there for me to cheer me on, it was great.
Have you been training? Do you feel ready?
I was up early planning to run and then get to work by noon today. I've been keeping a cold at bay since Sunday and last night it decided to really grab a hold of me. Coughing, all stuffed up......ugh! I called the woman I work for and she said to stay in bed today, so that's the plan. This cold gets one day in bed and that's it! After that it better go somewhere else!
Have a great Friday California!
Good Morning Miss Rhonda and everyone,
Today brings a different day for me, I am going to shower, do my hair, and go downstairs and clean up the house some. Of course cleaning includes, sitting in a chair and rolling myself around downstairs, but hey, it gets done and then I will come upstairs and take a nap. The weekend is planned, not much going on.
I hope that everyone has a great time...NASCAR is Sunday, bring it on boys, I am watching.
Hugs, Me
Sorry I have been MIA, things have been kind of crazy at work and away from work. Still car shopping. Sigh. ARRG! Looking at Ebay now for something decent.
Tomorrow I am teaching the ladies of HOPE Chest another knitting session. In the afternoon, I will be getting my hair retightened. Hopefully, I will have an opportunity the go to DSW for a little shoe shopping using my 20% off coupon.
Sunday, I plan on going to the Japanese Kite Festival in Seal Beach. Will you be there, Jean?
Afterwards, I will be going to a Dodger's game with a friend.
Tonight, I have to go to the post office, then pick shea butter from the mall and then make another errand. So much to do, so little time.
Well, I have to go now, as I am on my own today with no help.
More Love & Peace,
Kim
