All I have to say is it wasn't my phone and I wasn't the one buying the wine.  lol  It was however a great surprise and we had a wonderful time, and for me it was just what the dr. ordered!!!! thanks to my partner in crime

Hey -- I wasn't naming names but since you two came  out of the closet and fessed up to the crime - its all good!  I had a wonderful chat with two wonderfully drunk friends who were having a blast!

Good Morning Diane and all of California!

Well, another weekend.  Really, they aren't much different than the weekdays for me.  My fave days are Sunday and Monday. Those are Jeff's days off.  He is working swings right now so doesn't get home until 1:30 in the morning.  It is sooooo hard to stay awake till then and still keep my morning schedule of getting up at 6 or so.  It is only for a few months, so I will buck up and do it.

My Dustbuster will be home December 19th for Christmas and goes back January 2.  He will be going to Misawa, Japan, in mid January for two years!  I read what Luana said about her nephew and how they change and she is sooooo right.  The changes are amazing.  I just cannot believe that this man used to be my three year old stringbean of a child who loved Michael Jackson's Thriller video.  He would stand right in fron of the t.v. and when the monsters would come on screen, he would get ready to run from the t.v. if they tried to get him.  He did this for months, he was soooo infatuated!

Our home town football team was beaten badly last night.  Kinda embarrassing.  We were undefeated, as was the other team, and they cleaned our clocks but good!  Oh well.........

Good morning Miss Diane and Cali crew!!! (it is still morning for about a half hour lol )

I know I've been kind of MIA lately, sorry! My depression has been getting the best of me and I'm trying a new med, so we shall see. 
I had a Cat Scan this week and it definitely shows a new hernia and some inflammation. They aren't quite sure what the bloating is from but said maybe I had an infection at some point. The end result is surgery again, and very soon.  I have an appointment Monday with the other surgeon so they can confer with each other and make a plan of attack. I think besides fixing the hernia they will use a stronger mesh and try to tighten me better.  It is just so frustrating, the bloating is very annoying and I feel like I'm just going to explode out of my clothes! I hate the thought of another surgery, but I'm glad they are on top of this and wanting to take care of it NOW!

Not much else going on with me, just taking it all one day at a time. Just because I don't post doesn't mean I don't care, I do ALOT!!!! You are all in my thoughts and prayers daily. Have a great weekend everyone!!!!   bigg huggs, Becky

Good afternoon Diane and Cali. I've just been chilling today and watching shows that we had on tape from last week. Watching Cougar Town right now. Then gonna go do the 'dreaded' grocery shopping. Tonight we are heading to the LA Fair since it's the final weekend. Hope everyone is having a great one. Whatever you do today, make it good and make yourself smile. =)

I told my cold that it only had yesterday to keep me down, but now we're having a real battle here because I'm still in bed today.  So today I'm sleeping and drinking tea.  hoping to be better tomorrow.

TOday I did my 5k for Menatl Illness, and it went well.  My knee held up really well, so I expect it to be just fine for next weeks LB 5K.  Here's a pic of me at the finish line, as my brother and I were amongst the first 20% of people to cross, so I was able to take a pic with not too many people in the way.

This is so AWESOME!!!!!!!  This is one hell of a journey huh?
