I can't believe it's after 8 a.m. and no one has done the morning post yet.  I thought I was sleeping in!  LOL

Ok, what's on tap for your day today?  What did you do yesterday?

As for me, football, football, footbal!  My in laws are coming over and Isla and I will manage to sneak away and escpe the tv though for an hour or so.  Yesterday, football, laundry and Costco.

I hope whatever you do, you do something nice for you today.

I want to thank those that pm'd with with very nice messages regarding my depression. Hugs!! you all rock.  Ya, Im struggling but hangin in there.  somedays I just can't get myself to post or write back but Im reading and thinking about you all.

Today I have to drive to San Diego for my sister in-law's  2nd baby shower.. lol  this one given by her family, last one given my my family.

Its gonna be a tiring day but I'll make it!

Good for you Jackie!!  I know depression is an evil force to recon with..but you have the right frame of mind to deal with it.  Just keep moving forward...going to the baby shower...great distraction!!  And have FUN while there...those party games are pretty silly but makes everyone laugh....a great deterent to depression ^_^  Wishing you well

Morning,

After a day of shopping, and I mean a day of it, I finally got to relax at 8 last night.  Man did I sleep like a rock.  I am worn to the bones, but it felt so good.  I actually went to the grocery store yesterday, it was the first time in MONTHS!!!  It was so much fun.  I can't wait to do it again.  I got some new clothes too, not much, just a few items, but the closet was getting bare.  Actually it's full of clothes I need to pack up and bring to the LB Coffee. 

So today is getting started and did someone say NASCAR????  Oh wait that was me that yelled it out, so I guess you know what I am doing today!!!!  Next weekend they come out to the west coast.  I asked Doug to surprise me and get tickets, but I have a feeling that he didn't do anything, that will be my surprise, me being home and not going to see the races that are 20 minutes from the house.  Oh well...he does have his faults too, but I am not giving up hope as yet, there are alot of tickets yet to be sold.

I hope that everyone has a good day, have a great day, and it's so wonderful to NOT have the air conditioning on!  wooohooo

I was on early and kept thinking someone was going to post if i did.  then I had to make breakfast.  Came back and there are 2 posts, life is grand!!  The more the merrier.

Today brings church and then maybe a trip to the flea market.  need some veggies.  It will be a nice day to walk around not too hot.  We had a great time in the city with my sis.  Dropped them at the airport at 7 pm and headed home.  Had some great food in china town and dinner in the mission district.

I'm here!  Morning Barb (again hee hee)

Been up since 7 (that's sleeping 'in' for me, sheesh), got 1/2 my vitamins in, took the dogs for 'their' walk this morning. Pretty proud of myself, too....added an extra 2 blocks to my walk here at home and still took only 30 minutes.  Amazing how the walking at work has been so beneficial.

Only got about 1/2 the stuff transferred from 1 rig to the other last nite, so today is finishing up the rest.  Will make a run (or two) to the Dollar Tree and Walmart to get storage bins to put inside drawers and cabinets.  Have decided the best and easiest way to clean a motorhome is...to buy another one! LOL  That way, I have a chance to get rid of 'stuff' I've never used, but thought I just HAD to have when I bought it.  Also get to get rid of the 'I might need this someday' finds of DH. Man, that man is a Pack Rat! LOL  I don't look forward to the day we finally sell our house...this swapping motorhomes is only the tip of the iceberg, I'm afraid.

Other than the 'cleaning', not much else on my plate. Looks like Apple Hill will have to wait til next weekend..cus the weekend after that, we're heading to Yosemite!  Yippeeeee!  Gotta try out the new m/h, ya know? I am looking so forward to that trip ^_^

Good Morning All!  I was up at 7:30, didn't see a morning post, thought about doing one, decided to go back to bed instead.  Just woke up.  OMG that felt soooo good.

Today brings me a birthday party for a 5 year old.  I am making an appearance, giving out a couple of hugs and disappearing.  Headed to Lowes to check out their beadboard and chair railings deciding between the one's at Lowes and Home Depot, buying the materials and heading home and PAINTING my kitchen.  It's all ready to go.  Most of it is the little brush in hand type under the cupboard stuff, but there's 2 walls I can use a roller on.  And I also bought spray paint for the shelves so I'll give them a good coat of red paint too.  And the AC vent is going to be red too.  What the hell................ it's only paint!

Still trying to decide between tile and hardwood.  Will wait till the old man comes home.  I have 3 tiles picked out and 2 hardwood samples.  I have my choices narrowed down to 1 tile and 1 hardwood.  A gray/brown/white textured mess for the tile and a darker hardwood called Gunstock.

I went to the retirement party last night for my boss.  He thanked everyone from all the gas estimators, to his crew to everyone but his clerk - the person who made him look excellent for the last 9 years.  Oh well, pffft.  He's gone.  On to a new one.  Did tell the Superintendent to let me see if his replacement passes "inspection" before awarding the job permanently!  Tony chuckled at that - but I'm pretty sure I'll have to take who he decides on.

I've got another damn dog in heat.  So in about 10 days I'll go take her to go visit her "boyfriend" and it looks like we'll have a gazillion puppies running around here at Christmas time!  Perfect gift for the hunter in your life - a pure bred labrador retriever with excellent championship hunting lines and proven hunters!  How's that for a sales pitch?

Off to shower.  Need allergy meds too = my sinuses are messing with me.
