Good Sunday Morning

Hi Stephanie and Cali Crew,

I had a very nice Saturday with my husband's Aunt and Uncle from Alaska. Very interesting people and fun to be around. We sat out in the perfect weather at the Capitola Esplanade as we had lunch over the Soquel Creek that runs into the Monterey Bay. We then went to some art exhibits that are part of the Open Studios event happening in Santa Cruz for the next 2 weekends.

Unfortunately the day was cut short from a call from my mom who was on her way to the emergency room. Her tumor built up fluid in her abdomen and the fluid burst forth through her navel. I know, TMI. There was so much coming forth it wouldn't stop. After 6 hours of the emergency room and lots of exams, she was sent home. I also spent today with her. Luckily there is no pain from this. Tomorrow I am taking work off and we're going to her doctor where I hope they schedule the surgery very soon.  This will probably happen again soon until the tumor is removed.

Things are challenging, but I am thinking from minute to minute.
