Another Wow Moment

This morning my DH and I were at the grocery store when Kim, a checker, came and complimented me on my WL.  She said I looked like I had lost more than 25 lbs.  (Bless her)  She had this surgery done about 3 years ago so I had talked with her about it before I had it done.  She has been such a great sense of encouragement!  I does feel so good to have people notice!  I saw another friend Friday night that I had not seen since August complimented me too! 

Ohhh how wonderful!!  I can't wait for that moment..

Feels good, doesn't it Elizabeth?  LOL  Positive feedback from people we know or are acquaintenances helps us stay on track.  You've just begun this wonderful journey....keep up the great job...there are alot  more WOW moments a head of you!! ^_^

I am going to wait until 3 months out to get a new avatar picture.  I don't know why, but that is what I have decided!  That will be around Christmas.  I will probably post some pictures before that.  My granddaughter is having her Baptism on Oct 25 and my grandson's birthday is Nov 4.  If I get any good pictures of me from those events I will post them.  I am not exactly the most photogenic person in the world.  Never have been. When I was in Junior High School I wanted to be a model.  One day the counselor called me in to talk about my grades and I sat there and told him I was not concerned because I was going to be a model.  Here I was this homely, pudgy litle girl, with rotting teeth and stringy hair sitting before him.  He just said, "Well I guess it depends on how your figure goes."  I bet he really wanted to laugh.  LOL  When I think of that memory it sure makes me laugh!
