Found My Way - Day 13

Feels strange to not have posted yesterday, but I was seriously so busy I hardly stopped.  It felt great.  I stayed on track with my eating - even while out running around all day. I got hungry so I bought some beef jerky (which I can tolerate well) and ate some of that.  I did my Costco run, and Trader Joe's.  Finally got my vitamins at Trader Joe's, love those chewable multi vitamins and the sub lingual Vitamin B.  I also got one of my old favorites - Turkey Meatballs.  Haven't had them in forever so I'm looking forward to that.  I spent a long time reading labels and  picking and choosing, and next thing I know my husband - instead of standing there doing nothing - was picking up packages and looking at the labels.  It was great!

Last night I had a dream that I walked 50 miles!  It was so awesome.  I woke up early and I was energized and excited and felt like I had actually done it.  So I did some aerobics while everyone else slept, then I went on a bike ride.  My sweet hubby put air in  my tires yesterday so now my bike works great!  I love to ride, but am feeling the pain now.  It is a good pain.  So I did the body test on the Wii again, and I am down 4 pounds in 2 weeks!!!!  I can't believe it.  I don't feel it yet but that number is a huge motivation to keep me focused on this goal.

I am going to keep working at it and keep up the good eating, and exercise.  I can do this.

Deanna, you are doing so great!  My sister introduced me to the Turkey Meatballs...and gave me a great crock pot receipe:  package of the meatballs, 1 can Cranberries, 1 can Chili Sauce, 2tbs lemon juice and 1tbs spenda....cook all day on low and it is just fabulous!  I can usually eat 3 of the meatballs with some sauce over them.  My DH adds a cole slaw salad to his plate and it is such a simple but great tasting meal.. ^_^

I will have to try that recipe.   The recipe I used in the past was 1 C Grape Jelly and 1 C Ketchup.  super simple, but has sugars in it.  I have looked for a sugar free or reduced sugar grape jelly, but it has been so long since I have made these I honestly don't know what I used!  I too do them in the Crock Pot, or if in a hurry can do them in the microwave in a covered casserole dish.  I love the meat balls!
