Just a quick note.  Staying home today after going to the dentist this morning.  Feeling exhausted.  My cat decided she was "hunting" something (I hope it was a bug or spider) last night until about 2am.  So...home I stay today.

What fires????   Man, I just figured out I didn'****ch TV for 2 days!  Have no idea what fires you guys are referring to..but my prayers and well wishes go out to Heather and Doug..for their safety and a quick control and containment over the fires.

Today is routine work day..thank goodness! LOL  I won't be doing my office walk today....I 'walked' enough yesterday for at least 2 days worth.  I bet I transversed that plank of wood a 1000 times over the last 2 days LOL  I know today I'm paying for it...my back hurts and my feet are screaming at me to take a load off of them ^_^  Tonight is support group, which I always enjoy. I'll be going alone as Dancin' with the Stars comes on at 8pm....and I wouldn't dream of asking Lon to miss any of it.  When I get home, I'll work on the pictures I took of the old m/h so I can upload to Craig's List.  I will feel so much relief when we get it sold...it will pay off the purchase of the new one ^_^

Time to get back to work....enjoy your day and be good to yourselves...You are all PRICELESS in my book ^_^

Good Afternoon all,

I did start here in the morning, but between writing emails and then my nurse coming by, it got to be afternoon.

Dougie is up at the fire and he is fine.  I never worry, because I know his training, and his level head when it comes to these things and I just don't worry about it.  ALso I spoke to Heather and she is with friends and family and is ok.  I told her she is always welcome to stay here if there is anything.  I have that extra bedroom and lots of floor space.  Besides if she came here, she could rub my feet!!  She did that for me when she visited in the hospital, wow did that feel good.

Yesterday ended up being a very quiet day for me, except for my yelling during the NASCAR race.  I am glad the Stewart won, but I was really hoping that Gordon would have been able to pass him.  Five more laps and I really think the winner would have been different.  Doug ended up being called to respond to the fire, so it was so very quiet.  I was sure he would have been out all night, but he got home around 8, and had to be there at 8 this morning.  It's nice that he gets a change of pace.  This is the part of his job that he is really going to miss when he retires.  But we will move on to more fun things.

Today nothing new.  My wound is healing well, FINALLY.  The hole in my back is down to 1.4 cm....which is better than the 2.2 that it was.  So the healing should come to an end soon I hope, so then I can then start therapy.  Ok kids, everyone have a great day, and keep Heather in your prayers and thoughts..
