I spoke with Heather last night around 9:30pm. She and her family are doing ok, at that point. The had only evacuated the west part of Wrightwood. She was even able to get in and out of Victorville last night. I am keeping in contact with her. She doesn't have internet access right now, but I will let her know that you asked about her. I am sure she will appreciate it. I was worried about her too.

***UPDATE****

They evacuated the whole town of Wrightwood. Just talked to Heather. She is at the Victorville Fairgrounds. She just told me she is ok, they are at a meeting right now. As of 9pm, they were able to save the town, but if the winds pick up again, it may be in danger again. Heather is going to call me back as soon as the meeting is over. I will be keeping her and her family as well as all the residents in my thoughts and prayers.

Just F.Y.I. ever fire is diffrent but you have to be careful of the information you get on T.V. when we were evacted. in the Old Fire of 2003 we had up here they said that the clock in the village of Arrow Head was gone. My heart gose out to her and her family, had to go through that twice now not fun at all.

From a very reliable source, and most of you know who it is.  The fire is now at a slow rate of spread.  Yes, ALL of Wrightwood has been evacuated.  The fire is being worked on by lots of aircraft because the winds are not bad at all today.  The cold weather and the higher humidity is really helping.  Heather is staying at a home in Victorville with family and they are all fine.  I just spoke to her, and told her she could call be anytime day or night and I have my sources to help her out with questions.  They gave all the residents of Wrightwood good news last night, NO HOME in Wrightwood have burned the homes that have burned were on Lone Pine Canyon Road.  That is the latest, and I did just speak to Heather...she is fine!  Her and the kids are doing ok.
