Found My Way - Day 14

Today was more of a challenge, and I haven't figured out why.  I found myself in my pantry several times just scrounging for something - but I wasn't hungry.  I did not end up eating anything, I talked myself out of it and went into the other room.   I hate that habit and hope it goes away soon!   I am happy that I was able to talk myself out of it, and even happier that I listened.  I'm not a good listener to my inner voice at times.   I went on a bike ride this afternoon, and that felt good.  I pushed myself and pushed myself even when my legs were burning.  This was only after riding 3 blocks!! Boy I am in sad shape.  But it was strenuous to me, and I did it and that is all I care about.

I heard a song on the radio with my daughter, and I just sat there with my mouth open, it was one of those songs that just seems to reach into your soul and say exactly what you are feeling.  I have to share the lyrics with you, and then at the bottom I'll post who sang it:

I can almost see it
That dream I'm dreaming but
There's a voice inside my head sayin’
You'll never reach it,
Every step I'm taking,
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking but I
Got to keep trying
Got to keep my head held high

There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb

The struggles I'm facing,
The chances I'm taking
Sometimes they knock me down but
No I'm not breaking
The pain I'm knowing
But these are the moments that
I'm going to remember most yeah
Just got to keep going
And I,
I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on,

There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you’re going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb

Keep on moving
Keep climbing
Keep the faith baby
It's all about
The climb
Keep your faith

This song just touched me beyond words.  That is how I feel, that I have to keep the faith and focus on the climb, and it is ok if I stumble, just get back up and keep on climbing.
