“The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it."

W. M. Lewis

Good Wednesday Morning Cali Friends, what are you thankful for today?

Today I am thankful for...

1.  The scale moving significantly in the right direction!

2.  My wonderful friends on OH who make me smile and it's like Christmas when we meet up in person.

3.  That today is Wednesday!

OK your turn, what are you thankful for today?

Another terrific one!

Funny I was just thinking that my life did not really begin until after I had this surgery!  I now actually have a life and a life in a body that can do things right now.  I am having a ball.

Today I am thankful for.

1.  The scale not moving in the wrong direction but not moving at all.

2.  That I get to have a great weekend with my buddies (minus several special people that live in the north (boo hoo))

3. THat I get to go shopping for some winter clothing in a size I don't think I have ever been in in my life!

That is it for today!  Thanks Barb!  I love that you are so faithful to this.  Miss you bunches.

One of these days, Ms Rhonda! LOL  Now that Lon has fallen in love with the m/h...I just know I can get him to take a road trip down south!  All I gotta do is find the vacation time!  Next spring break, right?  ^_^
Love you to pieces!

Rhonda,

I miss you too.  I can't wait to either come on down there or for you to come on up this way.  Or heck we can meet in the middle!  LOL

Hugs and love to all the 2 and 4 legged Fosters!

Hi barb,
Love today's quote it is so true!

Today I am thankful for:

Having a wonderful hubby who love me unconditionally.

Having great staff to work for me (we accomplished a lot this year),

The fact that I don't mind driving back and forth to see my friends and family in so cal.

Awsome quote, Barb! I guess, I waited long to begin living my life, too. Even though they say life begins at 40 (and I was 41 in July, when I had the surgery), that is too long to wait.

Today I am thankful:

for my health

for my tool, this surgery

for my husband, family, and friends

for my furry puppies

I have a great deal to be thankful for, but today, I wnat to take this opportunity to say to everyone, I am  most thankful to all of you. For your kind words, your encouragement, your support, and most of all your friendship. You have accepted me, like no one else has. I have always been judged and talked about. You gave me the gift of unconditional acceptance. Thank you very much! You have made me the happiest person ever.

Hugs, friendship, & support always,

Michelle T.

This has got to be my favorite posting.  I love to see what everyone is thankful for and post my own.
I am thankful for:

The feeling of empowerment that WLS has given me to help me accoplish my goals.

Everyone's postings for me to read on OH so I know what I am experiencing is normal.

The 17LB's I have lost already

The cute little boy next to me telling me "mommy I Love you"!

Morning Barb....your quote is so Right On!!  I tried to not let my size keep me from doing anything I wanted...but it was a whole lot harder and I couldn't do whatever for very long :-(

So...today I am Thankful for:

The engery and stamina that I now have...and for the tool that helped me get it ^_^

My super-duper Contractor husband....he saves us sooo much money having the skills to do repairs and constructing new 'gadgets' for our m/h

The scales finally moving...and learning how MY habits influence its behaviour LOL

Have a great day CA friends!

Boy, can I relate to that quote!!! Unfortunately I think alot of us can with our WLS. But I especially can as I am just now starting to live my life for ME and find out who I am. I'm having to be SELFISH for the first time in my life and it is HARD!!!

Today I am thankful for...

1. God, and the strength he gives me to handle tough decisions

2. My wonderful OH family and all the great friends I have made and all their support, love, and prayers.  And I love what Barb said about it being like Christmas when we get together, so true for sure!!!!

3. My "work family" of friends who support and love me and make it easier to get my mind off of life and get my mind on work!!!

Please keep sending the prayers my way. Life is about to get really hard for me, but I know I can do what I have to do. Also facing surgery again, very soon!

mucho love and bigg huggs to all, Becky
