Good morning Rhonda and California,

I don't have much today.  On the bright side, tomorrow is Friday. 

I'm having a heck of a time with my asthma the last few days and so I'm just not feeling up to par because of it.  I'm not sure if it's from the cold, the change in weather or allergies.  But I'm actually waking up from sleep with asthma attacks.  That doesn't usually happen to me.  I had to sit up for about 1/2 an hour last night sipping water and using my inhaler and for a few minutes I thought I might have to make a run for the emergency room. But my airways did finally open up.  I need to get into the doctor's office for my flu shot, so I'll probably have a talk with her about it then.

So I'm finishing up my first cup of coffee and suppose I should get busy here.  I'm definnitely lacking in motivation today so I'll have to dig deep to get myself going.  Hope everyone has a great day and do something special for yourself.

So sorry that you are having problems.  I have been having breathing problems too, and been having to take pills everynight because of the breathing problems.  Since I have been down here my asthma has so much improved, but been to the ER myself a couple of times myself.  U young lady DO NOT wait too long when having those attacks.  You take care of yourself, I can only worry about one person at a time...(jk)

Awww. thanks honey.  Believe me, had the breathing not gotten better within about 10 minutes of when I started my inhaler I would have gotten the old boy out of bed and said, let's go.  We are going to the emergency room.  I would not have waited much longer.  But it did start to work, just took a bit longer than I was happy about. I take my antihistimines at night.  I don't take them all day because they make me so sleepy.

I'm just not sure what has kicked this up.  I've been doing really well with it.  The allergies as always are bad, but something has truly aggrevated the asthma.  Like I said, I need to get into the doctor's office for my flu shot, so I think I'll make an appointment to see her instead of just going in to get the shot.  I don't need an appointment for that. 

OK, I'm taking my wheezie self back to work now.  It's almost lunch time and I've got to find something to eat and do my reading for class on Saturday.  Too much to do and not enough hours in the day to do it.  Thanks for caring.  It makes it nice to know that I am cared about.

I too have been having problems with my Asthma this last week. It is waking me up, and I have been wheezing real bad. Just yesterday, I started to feel normal. Had my flu shot 2 weeks ago.

I'm sorry you were having problems as well Karen, but thanks for letting me know.  I'm wondering if all the recent fires all over has something to do with it.  My allergies always get worse when there is any change in the weather, but the asthma isn't usually affected by that. I'm sure it will get better and get back to only being the occassional nuisance.

Thanks again for taking the time to let me know I'm not the only one not breathing well these days.

Beautiful Thursday morning to all!  Today brings another day of work but not a whole lot of stress with it, which is a blessing. I am determined that today I will get my 4laps of walking the office block in; just haven't been following thru when I get home and my legs can tell it LOL

Tonight I will be finishing up resizing the pictures of the old motorhome, take a couple of new ones of views I forgot to include and then post to Craig's List.  Right now there is only 1 rig like ours listed for the Sacramento area and it's got 1 1/2 times the mileage that ours has so hoping that makes a difference to somebody (a guy thing maybe??)  We've had some looky-loos stop by the house to check the rig out, with just 'for sale' signs on the front window so hopefully getting it on Craig's List will increase the interest.

Well, time to get to work.  Only been here since 7:15am....hopefully the day will continue to fly by...I love running out of time to get everything done...it is so boring when I don' have enough to keep me busy...which isn't very often I admit.

Goodness, when I heard you say set the alarm for 4 am, I figured you would hit the snooze 100 times, but crap you weren't kidding!!!  As for me, a great sleep last night.  That damn facebook has me so addicted to several of their games, I am cooking up a storm in cafeworld, then there are egg buddies which really have me pissed off, still looking for one egg, and I played it for 3 hours solid last night.

Dougie is home sick.  He has a cold, cough the whole works.  Bless his heart.  So we will be hanging out today, he in bed and me in my chair.  Bless his heart!  He works so hard, inside and outside the home, it's not a wonder he is not sick more.  Other than that, we are just resting today.  I am working on walking better without any assistance.  It's not easy, and I am having leg and feet issues.  But I am doing what the doctor says and once I can get into therapy I will be doing better.  The doctors are unable to give me a long term prognosis, but I will never be down.  I will be myself again, I don't care what the doctors say!  With my back fixed, and another year to go, I will be next to you both next year Rhonda and Jean, doing the 1/2 marathon.

Hope everyone has a great day.  I have a funfilled weekend planned, and I hope everyone else does too, and Anna, you remind me so much of myself, I am so excited when it's Friday and Doug is home for the weekend.

Good Morning Cali,

I am still looking for a car.  I saw one last night in Woodland Hills.  He did not let me drive it because he felt that I would "lose my bearings" because it was night time and in an unfamiliar neighborhood.  I noticed that the car did not have power windows and locks.  Darn.  Why hadn't noticed that before?  I am going to check Kelley Blue Book to get the private party price of the car.
Finally, I am planning on getting this car finding service.  Basically, I will tell the owner of the company what I am looking for (make, model , year span, colors, coupe or sedan) and he will go out to dealer auctions, check the potential car out, place a bid and then notify me.  I will then give him a deposit and he will get the car and have his machanics check it out from bumper to bumper.  Once he notifies me that it is ready, he will call me and I will pay the balance.  I told him that I want to pay no more than 10 Grand out of the door.

Saturday evening, I plan on going to the Pre-Marathon dinner in LB.
 Sunday, go to church.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I am here today at work, but my body is rebelling.  Allergies are acting up and I feel like warmed over doggie dooooooo. 

I NEED MY GUARD DOG TO COME HOME!  So I can sleep!  I'm tired and not sleeping deep enough to get restfull sleep.

I cleaned Jayden's room last night.  Holy cow that boy's a pig.  We are so going to have to have a talk about what a trash can is, what it's uses are for and how it is so not acceptable to stash the goodie wrappers under his bed.  I found a dump truck load of legos and sorted out all his toys and all that. 

Giving more thought to my kitchen floor and may just go with some colored / stamped concrete.  We have friends who do this for a living and will give us a good deal.  Some of the pictures are awsome.
