Tremendous Thursday! Gus only 1 more Day till Friday!

Hey Gang how is everyone in OH land?  Me swamped busy that is why I am doing this at 4:00 a.m.  I have to get up to post and to farm at facebook!  lol.   Busy weekend with gal pals this weekned.  Long Beach Marathon is on Sunday and I so look forward to that.  Our group is doing the 1/2 Marathon.  I don't know when we start or where we start or anthing but we are starting!  lol.  I don't know much other than it is going to be a blast!  My schedule at work has changed so now I am all over the place!  It is fun though and I love each and every moment of it.  I did not realize how much I missed working.  But I do miss having the flexibility to run the streets with my good friends though as some of them don't work or have days off during the week.  WEll I got stuff to do so I will chat later and I am going to try on Monday to catch up on all the goings on here on OH, I am sorry but I have not had time to read all the posts.  Heather is home I did hear that and that is a good thing.  Diane is doing good I heard that.  Now Becky what are you up I never hear from you anymore.  YOu busy thing.  Barb I am missing you and Nancy we still got to hook up soon.  I think you said spring or something.  WEll I really got to go now.  Everyone have a special weekend.

Good Morning Rhonda and Cali,

I know I have been more of a lurker lately, but I am still around and reading what's happening with everyone.  Best of luck to all that are participating in the LB Marathon this weekend.  I am hoping that my RNY situation improves and I can participate next year. 

Rhonda and Jean....... I am planning on meeting up with you on Saturday for a bit if that's still on....El Dorado right?  let me know.

I have insomnia......again... I am not usually up at 4am .  I have a work event in Van Nuys today and then dropping my daughter off at the airport tonight.  She is spending the weekend with her Dad in AZ... Woot Woot!  I get one glorious weekend without the teenager....

I am scheduled at a near by day spa for 4 hours of serious pampering this Saturday.  I have never ever been for a massage and I am doing the whole enchilada.....massage/mud body wrap/facial.  heehee  I can't wait.

Happy Thursday!  That means playing music tonight which I love dearly!!!  Getting ready for the Dec concert with new music whoo hoo!

Busy with work but it's feeling better each day, I don't feel in over my head now and can settle down.  Still haven't had time to neaten things up as I want too but I have come to accept that it is what it is and I will at some point.

I hope everyone has a great day and that you do something nice for you!

Good morning Rhonda and Cali,

Yeah! it is my Friday today - can you say long weekend!!!  I am leaving this afternoon to drive down south.  Hope it is not too dot driving through central CA.  I have lots to do before I leave.  I will try to keep up this weekend but not sure how much I will be able to do.  Dealing with my dad is a full time job (sometimes harder than Ms. V).

So everyone have a great weekend, hope some of you have Monday off I know some don't the darn state took it away!

This week brought us a loss of 24.6 lbs!  Wahoo!  You guys would not believe how I have to keep the spreadsheet open while I'm doing this post . . . because I can't remember the number for 2 minutes while I switch from one to the other . . . old age lol!

Good Morning Rhonda and Calif gang,

I don't think I reported back after the PS on Monday. All stitches and the last drain are out and wow does it feel good! I was told to take it easy this week but of course I tend to do a little bit too much and I tire out easily.

I'm really worried about my husband. It's been such a stressful year and he's taking it all very hard. Now his work isn't doing well and we never know when his paychecks are going to bounce. He came home so mad yesterday about things that had happened and I begged him to go to the Dr. Luckily he agreed and I got him in yesterday afternoon. His Blood pressure is way up and the Dr started him on all sorts of med's to help with the stress. Please send lots of good thoughts and prayers his way.

We have a nice get away  planned this weekend, we're staying in Temecula and attend a wedding at one of the winery's, should be fun and relaxing.

Glad you are done with those drains!  I am sorry to hear about your hubby and I will keep you both in my prayers.  Which Winery are you staying at?  I was just down there this past weekend and stayed at an Awesome one!  Drank wine relaxed and it was wonderful.  Can't wait to do it again really soon.  Have a great weekend.  Call someone to vacuum for you don't work to hard you need to re-couperate and heal.  You have the rest of your life to vacuum so let it go for a while, We still love you dirty carpet and all.

OOOO which winery are you going to for the wedding.  Please make sure to go to Stewart winery, they have the best wine in the valley there.  I think Doug and I are going to be going down there soon.  I just need to make sure whatever room I get has a recliner so I can sleep.

I really don't know how you get up so early, Rhonda. I would probably be dead on my feet! But I guess I will soon find out, cause they are saying we have to try to be at the marathon 2 hours before hand. I am really looking forward to walking with Annette, Jackie, and some of the others. Annette's son is doing the 1/2 marathon. I am really looking forward to all the friendship and support this weekend. Saturday night at El Dorado is going to be a blast!
Today brings just making sure I have everything packed for tomorrow. I am leaving here early tomorrow morning. I also have to do some daily chores and of course get my walking in. I am so glad the cooler weather is upon us, and just when they say it might warm up for the weekend, I am taking off for a really nice weekend closer to the beach!
I have decided to do another 5k walk at Disneyland, the following weekend 10/18. Its for CHOC (Children's Hospital of Orange County). Then I have the Turkey Trot. You are so right, Monica! It is addicting! But I love it!!!
