Hi Barb & Cali Crew,

Barb, excellent quote. It's so so so true. I think every parent, school teacher and anyone else who works with kids needs to have this quote hanging somewhere so they can see it everyday.

Today I am thankful for;

1. The great care my mom is getting at Good Samaritan hospital in Los Gatos
2. That her surgery went very well and that she came out of it better than when she went in
3. Our family and friends who have been very supportive and caring through my mom's surgery
4. I am not eating over the anxiety I have right now.
5. A boss who has been supportive about me taking family leave to tend to my mom
6. Working for a politician that not only talks the talk, but walks the walk.
