TGIF! Gus it has arrived just for you!
Good Morning Everyone -
Just a quick post as I am at work and have so much to do before I have to pick up Michelle T. Looking forward to the meet up on Saturday for race packets, and the race on Sunday as well.
Today will be hectic at work as I am trying to clear my desk up (what a mess). Then when I pick up Michelle, poor thing I need to drag her to the grocery store w/me as I will not have time this weekend to go. My house is upside down at the moment and I spent the entire past weekend cleaning, so Michelle just excuse the mess, we are a family that has so many different schedules, and we come and go at all hours.
The game last night was awsome. Tonight will bring more of the Angels. Michelle will be a sports widow in my house as well, but I am hoping my daughter will give us a manicure and hopefully a pedicure tonight.
Well, need to get back to work, enjoy your Friday and if you are doing nothing tomorrow around 5pm, come join us at the El Dorado in Long Beach for some fun, food, and friendship.
See Ya,
Happily today is Friday...and that means tomorrow is Saturday...yehhhhhhh! Today is routine work and tonight will be a quiet one. Lon is trying to fight off a cold but, unfortuntately, I think he is losing :-( He won't take Zicam, which I swear by! so he is treating symptoms only. I won't complain tho...he has been working his butt off the last 3 days repairing the new m/h and saving us a ton of money being able to do the work himself.
Tomorrow morning I'll be taking the old m/h to a 'park and sell' site that is right along the freeway. Really neat idea...you pay $50 for unlimited weekends, park the rig and leave it (just for the weekend)....the guys who run it create an ad for Craig's List, take all the pictures and deal with potential buyers until they are ready to wheel and deal with us. Then they call us and we go out to talk 'turkey' with the potential buyer. Our weekend is left free to do whatever we want...we are just a cell phone call away...really a sweet deal all the way around.
Sunday is open, but may be just a day to kick back if Lon can't shake this cold. I've got a lot of 'projects' to do around the house...fall and winter always get me motivated to do 'spring cleaning' LOL I need especially to get into the room the granddaughter was using and CLEAN it! I plan on making it MY room/office/hide away/sancutary ;-) I'd really like to get into our carving room and reorganize but that is Lon's 'turf'...maybe I could work on my area...all 4X4ft of it LOL
Well, I've rambled long enough...time to get back to working on the books. To all of you that are participating in the LB marathon...I am soooo impressed with you!! I agree with Michelle...it's not about time or speed...it's about doing your personal best...whether walking, jogging or running. Just participating is fantabulous! And doing it together with friends...how much fun that must be. Have a great time gang.
To everyone else...enjoy your weekend, even if it is a working one...at least we're breathin' air. ^_^

still here and still sick.
This cold and cough is a tough one. I ran three miles this morning just to remind my legs that come Sunday morning, they're running a Half Marathon (run/walk)
For now, I'm hacking and coughing, so as I said on Facebook, Robitussin, take me away.
OH YEAH CHRIS?????? I'm down 2 pounds this week!
TGIF!!!! WOOT!!!
As I drove into work this morning, crews were already setting up the start/finish line area for the LB Marathon! It's going to be a lovely chilly morning to run. Perfect conditions!
I have a FABULOUS outfit to walk in.... this event is all about the fashion for me since I don't think I'm ready to run yet. However, I will be ready for business at the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day! I want my PIE!!!
Special shout-out to all the runners walkers and cyclists!!! Good Luck!!!
I am so looking forward to a great weekend with friends and family. I so enjoy being around everyone. Sat will be a fun day for me, and Sunday is NASCAR. I think on Monday, which is a Holiday for some, I am going to make a dinner and have some friends over. I am not sure yet, will have to see how Doug feels. He is still sick, but working very hard on getting better, The reson I know that he is so sick, is he is laying in bed all the time, and he doesn't like to do that, When he gets downstairs and watches TV, then I will know he is better, Take care all, hugs, Diane
Looking forward to a fun weekend. Have to check on my dad as my sister is in NYC this week and will not be home until Thursday evening. Got to make sure he is not throwing any wild parties, lol!
Best wishes to everyone participating in the LB Marathon this weekend. I will be there in spirit with you all.
