Good Saturday Cali Friends, what are you thankful for today?

Today I am thankful for...

1.  A great support group meeting this morning.

2.  That my father-in-law doesn't have pneumonia but is very weak and is back in the hospital

3.  For my husband who is my biggest supporter of my WLS.

OK your turn, what are you thankful for today?

Awwww..Barb...am sooo sorry to hear Bert is back in the hospital.  He was doing so well, too.  Poor Isla must be so tired of this yo-yo she is on...please give her a big hug for me

Today I am Thankful for:

My husband and his skills at repairing and fixing things, especially today as he is not feeling good (cold) and should be resting.

My puppies...because of them I get out and walk everyday...they so enjoy it! Wish I enjoyed it half as much as they do LOL

A DIL who has with sincerity finally accepted me...for me and not just because I married her dad.  And believe it or not.  it was my WLS that turned her around!  I LOVE my RNY

Hope you were able to enjoy your day off Barb....you and Ron and the family are in my prayers...hopefully, Bert will be home soon.

Nancy,

Thanks bunches.  Isla is feeling under the weather as well, so that didn't help.  They originally thought Bert might have pneumonia but then ruled it out BUT later in the day he was running a temp so it might be that infection rearing up again.  At least he's in the best place possible and is bring followed up on.

Isla is home in bed resting, so hopefully she's feeling better before too long.

I decorated the inside of the house for fall & halloween and Ron will help me put the yard art up next weekend.  Tomorrow he's setting in some fence posts with our neighbor so that we can extend the life of a good looking fence another 10 years.  The posts on the fence are rotting out due to our neighbor who waters the begeebers out of his yard and didn't both to treat his side of the fence when it was built!  Oh well, we'll keep it strong.

Give a hug to Lon and so glad to hear about the DIL and that the grandaughter has left the building!

Hugs,
Barb

Hee Hee Hee...thought about you and the Holloween decor when I heard on the news Friday nite that we could expect a huge storm hit on Tuesday.  I was sure you were paying attention since you had mentioned here that Ron had taken decorations down ^_^

Fences are a PAIN!  We helped pay for our neighbor last year to put up new fencing after a winter storm knocked it down...only thing was, we didn't pay attention to how he was replacing it :-(  Instead of putting 4X4 wood posts in...he came up with the insane idea of using PVC pipe, 2" HOLLOW!!  The  very next storm bent those puppies over in a heart beat...the fense has been down ever since Grrrrrrr...Lon refuses to pay again. LOL

Give my love to Isla...and I'm praying that they both get on the rebound quickly.  They've both had enough trials to get thru...at least they have great medical care and a SUPER DIL...YOU in case you didn't get that ;-)
talk to ya soon....my offer still stands...call me if you need me!
