When I talked to Rhonda at 10, mile 8, now at 12, how proud I am of both of them.  Go and eat ladies, then rest, you deserve a great big long one.  How proud we are of you.....keep going, I am home cheering you on.....YIPPPEEE!

And now Rhonda and Jean are done, walking the 5 miles back to the car....let me see, 13 miles of walking, 10 miles two and from vehicle. they should have just done the entire marathon.  Did Monika do the 1/2????

I got a call from Rhonda, they finished and were looking for a good cheeseburger on Pine Street.....(funny, I always want the same thing after a long race) Congrats to the ladies!!

Hey honey - sorry we never got to see you - but I know you breezed through your walk...did you do the 5K or end up doing the 1/2?  And we ended up going to Hofs Hut in the Marina and no burgers.....Rhonda ordered a steak (that was awful but she can tell that fiasco story)  I got a beefeater sandwich that I will finish off over the next day or 2.  But we did have some french fries....oh yummy.

I am so so so sore but just got out of a hot bath and got cleaned up for a date later....a very quiet evening - just gonna have a little wine and watch a movie....

I am pretty proud of myself  and even more proud of Rhonda.  But next year I want to have someone drive me downtown and drop me off so I don't have to walk 10 miles to get to and from my car.  Well maybe not 10 but it was a long way and after the race it seemed like farther than 10 miles to my car.

i was talking with some friends at the baptism today, and they all want to do it next year, too, so...we'll add to the gang...some more fun ladies...
