IT'S TERRIFIC TUESDAY AGAIN!

This is my 2nd time posting this as computer went hay wire last time!  I did a mini shout out and I am not happy it was lost.

Know that you and your family are in my prayers.  Isla has been in my thoughts and prayers constantly.  When things settle down up there, please bring her with you to visit for some good loving and fun.  I miss you!

What a wonderful weekend we had.  I just did not want it to end.  We all had such fun and played so hard. Even those that were not there, were there!  lol

OMG I think I had to roll out of bed this morning I ate such wonderful food last night and it was delicious!  Thanks for cooking you italian you!  My husband wants to marry you by the way!

What a wonderful job you all did!  I had a ball on the 1/2!  It was Great!  Jean finished with me!  Hand in hand we ran across the finsish line together in 4 hrs 20 some min. We were awesome!
Congrats to you 5K'r's and 10K'rs too.  Javie! I heard you took off running!  You go GUy!

Well my fingers are tired my farm is a calling.  I did not get a chance to read up on what is happening this morning!  But I wish everyone out there in OH land a wonderful day!  I will try and do a giant shout out later this week.  But know that if I did not mention your name does not mean I don't care about you it is that I am too old and tired this morning and have not had enough coffee.  Take care and see you on line!

Good Morning Rhonda,

Thank you so much for your good thoughts and prayers.  Bert looked much better last night than he did the night before and I actually fed him something they called pureed food.  He hadn't eaten since Friday so he ate every morsel that was there.  I picked up Norma (Ron's sister) arrived at the airport so I was grateful she has come for 2 weeks and will be able to help Isla and then when the time comes to discuss next steps (living arrangements or otherwise) she will be there) and they will make them together as a family.  Bert joked even a little during dinner, so in my mind that is an improvement from the lethargy the night before.

Dr's think the valve that is at the end of the esophagus is worn out which causes him to aspirate food & liquid into the lungs which develop into pneumonia.  Not much they can do to repair it is my understanding at his age.  So, since this may continue to happen, I think assisted living may be the next step as Isla cannot continue to keep up with this.  Fortunately that bought long term care insurance, so I will be calling them today.

Not much else is new, but it's been busy enough.  Thank you all for good thoughts and prayers, we certainly didn't expect him to rebound on Sun, but God has a plan I know.

You know you all are in my prayers...and the offer still stands...call me if I can do anything! to help.  Isla and Bert are so fortunate to have you...you are 1 smart gal and know how to get things done.  Bless you, Barb...you will not go unrewarded....and I know they appreciate everything you do for them.
Hugs to Ron, I know this has got to be hard on him, too. Hopefully, his sister being here will help ease the stress and she can share the 'load'. ^_^

Goog morning Rhonda and Cali Today will be very busy and long. I need to pack up the car and head home from Laughlin. Dad had a great time for his b-day. I am going to drop off Dad and pick up my brother. At least I will not be making the trip from So Cal to Nor Cal by myself. Hope everyone has a great day!

Drive safely Delores!  Hopefully, you are getting weather reports down there...you are returning just as the first storm of the season hits...and it is a doosey!  Let us know when you make it home and glad to hear you had a great time with you dad.  That's always a special time ^_^
