Just a quick good morning California from me.  I have much to do this morning.  Tax deadline is looming at us tomorrow so we are all in tax return hell the next two days.  Yesterday a client that I have been begging since last January to get her work into us shows up with a year of her partnership business to be completed plus her personal information and can't understand why we can't get it done by Thursday.  We've told her over and over that if she didn't give us a minimum of a month to get everything done, it wouldn't and now she's angry.  My boss had to get in on that one and told her what the deal was.  She finally backed down.  I really think she thought she could bully me into getting everything done, but I was going to have no part of it.  When my boss backed me up, she backed down.  Sorry you are going to get penalties, but it's your own fault.  Every month, when I prepared her sales tax returns, I would ask her where all her work was and every month she'd laugh and say that she better get on it.  Well I'll get on her work next week.  This week is spoken for.

OK, thanks for letting me vent.  I am starting to feel somewhat better.  Still congested and a little tummy grumbling go on, but nothing like Monday so I'm happy.

Hope everyone has a great day.  Do something special for yourselves because if you take care of yourself first, you will be better prepared to take care of everyone else who needs you.

Good Morning,

The change is perfect for me.  Dougie and I will be gone the following weekend.  I think we have settled into going to Temecula for the few days he took off.  So the weekend before sounds wonderful. I am going to do today what you did yesterday, watch tv.  Even tho I am usually in my chair, I am trying very hard to get up and walk around without the walker more and more.  I have got to get my leg to stop swinging out when I walk,  Anyway, I have the tv on but I don'****ch it, I just have it for company.

Dougie is not feeling very well lately.  He is tired all the time, and with his CHF I worry.  So he will see the doctor on Friday, please say a prayer for him that they find out what is wrong and can fix him.  Now that he is ready to retire, I am so worried something will happen before we can spend some fun time together. 

Jean, I wore my boots the Uggs on Monday when I went out.  They are SO comfortable.  I am going to wear the other pair on Sat or Sun.  We have a wedding, and I don't even remember which day it is now.  I am so lame.  Guess I should find out huh?  Lori had the right idea on buying rain boots.  I think this year I may invest in some.  I don't mind going out in the rain, but I hate my feet to be wet.  One of those things that drives me nuts.

Just a quick note too on Naomi.  She is having her knee replaced the end of the month, but now she is having severe pain in her shoulder.  She is going to need that shoulder to help her recoup from knee surgery, so please keep her in your prayers and thoughts that the doctor figures out what is wrong with her today, and gets her on her way to feeling better.

Ok kids, I always post so much...geesh, long winded and full of BS I guess.

I was wondering if Halloween was going to affect the SoCal Coffee meet.  I won't be able to make it for the 24th, as I will be heading out to the Coliseum parking lot to tailgate for the USC game....WOOOOOHOOOOO!!  anyways, I don't have a weight to report this week, but I don't think it's changes since last week.

Good Morning Jean and Cali Friends.  The 24th sounds good to me too unless of course my daughter-in-law goes into REAL labor then I have grandmother duty with the other two girls.  LOL
Jean, I hope your muscle calm down soon.  I hope to do the 3-day walk in San Diego next year. Jean, was it you who was interested in the fridge? 

I am having PS either on November 17th or December 30th.  It depends on my work schedule; however, I should know before the end of the week which date for sure.  I am excited and nervous at the same time.  Excited because I am anxious to get rid of some of this excess skin and nervous began it is another surgery. 

Naomi, I am sorry your shoulder is acting up.  I fee your pain as I have had three injections in my left arm and probably ready for another one.  I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts.

Diane, keeping Doug and you in my prayers too.

Chris, I have been pretty much maintaining my weight so no loss to report.  However, no gain to report either.

Terry . . .if you are thinking about doing the 3 Day in  San  Diego next year . . you are welcome to become a Boobie Bandit!  We are expanding our team (the captain is still coming from Montana) . . . and some from Washington state . . . and if you register before November, it is $55 rather than $90 . ..  so if you want info . . . let me know and I'll get it to you!  The more the merrier!

Thank you Chris for the offer!  I appreciate it.  My son's girlfriend is walking for the 3rd year this November and I may be obligated to join her team if she is walking again next year.  However, I would love to talk about it and get more information.
