Thursday is Here! Gus only one more day!

Goodmorning all!  Today is Thursday, thank goodness.  This week has been really long and I even had Monday off.  I woke up this morning feeling icky a bit though.  I think Becky gave me what the heck she has, she is a sharing type girl you know.  It has been a blast having her here as usual and I so adore her and her daughter Tara.   They will come again to visit I am sure.  Yesterday she got to go to work with me and see what I do and how I do it.  I hope she had as much fun as I did!  I have a busy weekend this weekend, with lots going on.  I hope I can shake this ickiness before Friday evening as my weekend has lots of fun stuff planned.  What is everyone doing today?  Thinking about tomorrow and doing fun stuff?  What about this crazy weather we are having.  It is 48degrees where i am at now and I heard on Friday it is going to be 90.  That is like beach weather I think.  WEll I better get on to my farms.  Everyone have an awesome day, play a little, work a little and live a lot!

Morning Rhonda and Cali . . . well gang . . . we LOST 26.7 this past week!  Wahoo!  Momo . . . I wasn't sure what I was supposed to put you down for . . . so I didn't include you  . . . so can you straighten me out next week so I get it back on track?   Great job on working on that 20!  Suggestion for next year . . . if people like the idea . . .besides tracking weekly, maybe we can put down our starting weight on 1-1-10 - that way if we forget where we started (LIKE ME ALWAYS) . . . we have a base to work with . . . just an idea.

So it's back to work for me . . . and now I have to go kill a few dragons and stuff before heading out there .. .

Chris, I like that idea to have the starting weight on January 1, 2010.  It is much more accountable and also easier to track.

Good Morning Rhonda and Cali Friends,

Rhonda, give all in the house a hug for me and tell them I miss you and then tell Gerry to give you one for me and tell you I can't wait til you come up to visit me!  I hope you get to feeling better too.  With this crazy weather and the way temps are up and down it's no wonder we don't get ickier!

Chris, I like your idea and I'm in.  If course you know you can count on me to do back-up detail anytime. 

Today is work and band rehearsal tonight so I am grateful thee is no rain forcasted.  I always hate dragging myself out of the nice warm house at night toting my sax when it's raining!  LOL  Ron and our neighbor will cut our back fence into sections and remove it so they can then re-drill holes and put new posts in as the old posts have rotted.  The fence is in great shape except whomever built it did not use pressure treated lumber for the posts and they rotted after 10 years (DUH).

Well yesterday was a drag!!!  All the work from my couple of days off hit-yikes.  My district director is having a melt down and the entire staff is feeling her.  I try to buffer for them but it does not always work.

Today should be a little better, need to get back into routine.  I have lots to do so better get cracking.  Have a great day.

I had a very busy day yesterday and today brings more of the same. Please keep Nancy's (Sunray) granddaughter in your thoughts. Nancy posted yesterday, that she was born on Monday, and has a genetic heart defect. She is at Stanford Hospital and for now surgery can be avoided. But it sounds like this little one will be undergoing quite a few tests in the next week or two. I am thinking and praying for Nancy, Lon, her son and his family, and Baby Brianna.

Good Morning All!  Yes, I am alive and did survive 27 or 28 hours straight of work.  Ugh.  But, lots of ChaChing! for shopping!  I'm thinking a new gas stove for my kitchen!!!!

I went home yesterday at 10 am and crawled into bed and slept for 5 hours.  Got up and vegged in my jammies for a while until I found out I did not have to go back to work (oh, thank you Lord!) and showered and made the old man take me to Olive Garden for Soup and Salad.  Then flanneled up when we got home and watched some tube.  At about 9:00 I was done in and said good night and crawled into bed with some Valerian Root on board (ooooh, can we say "Good Night Gracie pills!)  Watched some Criminial minds until I fell asleep.  Slept like I was DEAD until 5:30 this morning. 

Today brings paperwork clean up and the works.  Need to go after work today and get Jezibele her dog license.  Also need to contact the DMV and find out why they have not sent me my vehicle registration.  Damn, it was due in August and I didn't get a renewal..............Grrrrr.

Outta here.  Get your vitamins in and your water and remember to move your keister a bit today!

Today should be my Friday, but I decided to take some OT tomorrow.  I'll take any extra $$ with Xmas coming up soon.  Today should be pretty chaotic, as we have a mandatory emergency evacuation drill that we have to do.  Luckily I work on the 2nd floor, and will be able to dodge 99% of the people going down the stairs.  Well that's it for now....have a good one Calfornia!!

Good morning all,

Ahhhh Thursday and better than that it's October 15th.  The true final day of the 2008 tax season.  Now we get to coast until January 1st when the poo poo hits the fan again.  Of course because I do mostly corporate taxes, it never really does end for me.  There is always something to do and some deadline to meet.  How old do I have to be to retire?  I'm ready now.

I was supposed to be at Disneyland today but because of the yuck I had on Monday and not being able to come into work, no Disney for me today.  But in the next week or so Mike and I are planning a day.  We want to see the Halloween decorations.  Then we'll probably make a trip in December to see the Christmas decorations and after that who knows.  We love Disney.

Nothing major planned for the weekend.  Tax class and mid-term exam on Saturday.  It should be really easy though.  You have to prepare a tax return and then do a multiple choice test which is open book.  Easy.  After class we are getting together with my son for Chinese food.  There is a place near his apartment in Fullerton that he says has excellent food, so we are going to give it a try.  I hope it's as good as he says.  Sunday, Mike wants to go to a gun show.  I don't particularly care for them as I'm not into guns at all.  But he loves to go and at least I get to walk around.  They do usually have some other things besides guns, so it's not all bad.

And that about wraps it up for me.  I'm going to get myself another cup of coffee and get busy here.  Hope everyone has the exact kind of day you want and help it along by doing something great just for yourself.
