Hi Tammy, My portion control tips are as follows:

Weigh and measure everything. I have a food scale at home that I use.

Meat: 3-4 ozs.

Veggies: 2-3 ozs.

Soy chips: Depending on the brand, I stick with their recommended amount. I put the chips in snack sized zip-lock bags. This way I don't do what I did pre-op and eat the whole bag in one sitting.

Water: I use 16.9oz bottles to track my fluid intake.

Protein shakes: 6-8ozs of Milk to however many scoops of powder is recommended (usually 1-2 scoops).

I am by no means saying that it's easy, but I do my best to stay on track.
