Finally Friday! TGIF
Love ya,
Steph
That sure is scary to have happen! Please make sure you are eating enough, even if it a few light meals. As everyone else has said glucose tabs are best, they melt into your system quite fast and do the job. My mom is diabetic quite bad and is insulin resistant. So we are constantly having to monitor her with her hypoglycimia and hyperglycimia. I am glad you are feeling a little better. Please take care of yourself. I know Doug will take care of you, and you him.

Please take care of yourself my friend, you are too important to all of us to have you under the weather, in fact, we're trying to get your back better so you can get up here so we can play remember?
Hugs and love to both you and Doug, and don't scare my friend Doug anymore, hear?
Hugs and love,
Barb
Well, I am feeling better. I was a little worried that I might get this flu thing, but so far just a raspy throat.
This weekend brings lot's and lot's of baseball on TV for the ALCS & NLCS. Hoping the weather holds up in NY so we can play today and tomorrow. The Dodgers better up their game if they want to move forward.
Did my laundry last night, tonight brings dusting, vaccuming, mopping.
Tomorrow my hubby and I are going to the Santa Anita Races w/ one of his vendors. We have such a blast, there is soooooooo much food, and drinks. I know, they do have plenty of protein so that is a +. Would love to have a mixed drink or hell, even a soda but I don't miss it, so I will just take my crystal light packets to add in to the water bottles.
Sunday will bring grocery shopping and then I am off to buy me some clothes w/my birthday $$, and I am going alone so that I don't buy things for other people, just me, me, me. I just need a couple pairs of pants and a light jacket as the heater in our office broke last yeat and it still is not fixed.
I have started Christmas shopping for the little things like stocking stuffers, now I just need to decide what I am going to buy my kids. Hubby & I do not exchange gifts anymore.
Well, hope those of you that are sick, feel better quickly.
Nancy and Barb - You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Diane - You really do need to eat. My husband is diabetic and when his sugar dropped to 37 on 2/14/09 I literally thought he was having a stroke. You can very easily slip into a stroke or even die if your sugar is too low or too high. Take care of yourself lady. I know, it is always nice to see those handsome men in the ambulance but not at the risk of your health.
Take care, have a good one everybody.
My post was not to offend you or anyone else, I thought I was offering support. Sorry, I just feel that you singled me out on this as your reply was posted to my support post and there are so many others before and after. Sorry, next time I will keep my supporative opinions to myself.
Glad your feeling better.
