The last few days...

SUCKED!!! Let me explain


My last few days of this week has litterally been from hell!

Thursdays are my Options class with Kaiser so I normally look forward to them. I enjoy the classes.

Well this week on Wednesday I was in a car accident. Taken to the hospital and admitted. I had neck and head injuries. ( I was rear-ended) I didnt get out of the hospital until 5pm Thursday night. My classes are at 6 so I was still determinded to make them.

I did, in all my pain and glory...

So the only bright side of my week was I still managed to lose 5 pounds from my last weigh in... Every two weeks...

Oh man, that does suck.  Well, it's over and it's gonna only get better.  Great job on the 5lbs gone, that is a bright spot in a dismal week.  Hang in there my friends, it's all downhill from here!

I was really happy about the 5 pounds cause that means I already hit my 10% requirement and I still have classes until 12/17 to keep losing.

Kat, you are one determined Lady...I'm not sure I would have made the effort to get to class....you are going to continue to do fantastic on this journey!  Congratulations on the 5l bs!

I hope your weekend goes better and you have recovered from the pain...I imagine you still have stiffness...and I pray not a concussion :-(  Keeping you in my prayers for a speedy recovery...

Lori I am not sure if it was rain related or not I know the roads were indeed still wet but no rain falling. The person who hit me never hit their breaks and slammed right into me. Pushing me into the car infornt of me, and them into the car infornt of them.

I was told by the Dr.s in the Nero(sp) surgery department I had some brusing on the brain, and some slipped discs in my upper neck.

Since I have a high pain threshold I am no longer in much pain unless I move to fast or in the wrong direction. I have a constant mild head ache cause most of the damage is near where the neck and skull meet.

My car is drivable, the tunk is all smashed in and there is some damage on the front of my car from hitting the person infornt of me.

Nancy thanks for the well wishes and kind words, I am still a touch stiff but I am sure it will pass I got a good hubby who takes care of me. He even stayed in the hospital with me all night. He was worried but dont tell him I told... hes a big tough guy... LOL
