Good Morning Sunday!
Good morning CA. I am writing you still sick, but here. I want to send well wishes to a few of our gals that are doing the Disney walk today. Little Michelle and OUr our own Boobie Bandit Chris. This also happens to Be Chris's birthday today, so lets all send her well wishes. Today I will hav more of the same. I will lie in my bed and just be. Catch up on all my farms and my cafe and sleep and watch old movies. I can't say I am better but I can't say I am worse. I am about the same. I did get some sleep so that is a good thing. I was signed up to walk at Disney today myself, but no can do, unless you gals want to drag me 3 miles. lol. Ok I am going back to bed but I did not want you gals to think I forgot about you! Have a super day everyone and don't forget to say your prayers today for everyone here on our boards.

Good morning and what the heck am I doing up this early? Am I crazy or just insane. Actually I had a kitty cat decide to walk across my chest about 1/2 hour ago. Kind of hard to sleep through that. But I think I will be able to go back to bed in a bit and sleep for another couple of hours.
Midterm yesterday was ok. I got two questions wrong, one of which was a stupid mistake because I read the question wrong. They really try to confuse you when writing the questions. It really ticks me off. On the bright side, as the test was in two parts, the part that really mattered, which was the preparation of the tax return, I got everything correct on that. But I'm still angry at the two I got wrong in the multiple choice part.
Today was supposed to be the gun show in Ontario, but Mike decided he'd wait and go to the next one. I can't say I'm upset. I was only going so he wouldn't have to go alone and because my son wanted to go. But last night at dinner they both decided no. My son, because he has alot of homework to get done. I now get to relax all day, do my laundry and maybe....big maybe....actually cook something for dinner. We'll see if I get motivated enough. We might also try to go out to a movie. I'll have to see what's playing locally.
I hope you start feeling better Rhonda. I know the yuckies are horrible, especially when you have a whole houseful depending on you. Hope everyone else has the kind of Sunday you hope for. Do something fun and make sure it makes you happy.

Today finds me at work (shocking I know...) and I hope that all of the Choc walkers have a great time. The temps are playing fair for the walk today at Disneyland. I hope some of our gals come over and say hello while I am working today... but if not thats ok, I will make a coffee one of these days.

I haven't been around in a bit. I arrived home from my trip to Scotland yesterday afternoon. It was such a good time. I wish I was still there. The town my Dad grew up in is so nice. It is pretty small, you can walk everywhere and they roll the sidewalks up at 5pm sharp. Nothing is open on a Sunday. A complete change living in the Bay area.
I have never walked so much in my life or walked up so many stairs. If I hadn't had this surgery, my trip wouldn't of been as great. I was able to keep up with everyone, and go places I wouldn't of been able to to before WLS. I walked up a few very small spiral stair cases, one of which was 275 stairs. Some of the door ways, were so small, I wouldn't of fit before even if I went in sideways. I love to travel anyway, but I can say now that I have had WLS, traveling is so much better then it was before. I will post some pictures on my profile when I get a chance. I have taken so many pictures, it is going to take a while to get through them all. I would recommend Scotland to anyone. I can't wait to go back. There is so much I didn't get to see. I hope you all have a fabulous Sunday. I am going to relax and do laundry.

Had a great day yesterday. Did some yard work and then off to the Gilroy outlets. DH needed some new clothes for his new job. They have a requirement that their clothing has to be a least 50% cotton because of the materials used at the facility. They don't want any sparks or boom!
Today we are going into the city to see my MIL it is her B-day on the 20th but she is flying out to Italy for a trip she is treating herself too. So we should have another nice day, lunch and lots more walking. We did about 3.5 miles yesterday at the outlet. Ms. V thought she would die!
Well better get hopping have to cook breakfast then church. Everyone enjoy your day whatever you decide to do. Goo luck to tall the folks going to Disney.

Rhonda, I sure hope you are feeling better soon. Stay hydrated and get some rest and you'll bounce back in no time. If things don't get better you should go to the Dr just to make sure.

I got up early and made banana bread for my honey. When I buy bananas for him, he doesn't eat them on purpose so I will make his banana bread for him LOL. So in about 1/2 hr he'll come crawling out from the covers cuz the house smells so good with a big smile on his face. He's not spoiled!
Yesterday I had a blast with my friend Linda. We did our running around, shopping and had lunch and dinner together. We also planned our annual shop til you drop day after Thanksgiving, we love it and we don't go in to the malls and have always never had to wait long in lines but man do we get LOTS of Christmas shopping done that day.
Today we're putting the yard art up for Halloween (I'll take pics) and then we'll be officially ready for trick or treat. I do need to make my Costco run today too, if I have time. Ron's Mom and sister will be here for dinner too.
That's about it for now. Hope everyone has a great day, feeling better, walking fast or just relaxing.

so sorry to hear you still aren't feeling well, rhonda... but, bed is the place to be and it's a day off, so... you rest up and take care of yourself. Don't go to work tomorrow if you aren't up to it...they will just have to learn how to do without you for a bit, until you recover!

Been up since about 7...dogs don't seem to know how to tell time or change their routines. And once I'm awake, can't go back to sleep..even if it is a non-working day...so I'm up and Lon is still sleeping, which is good as he is still hacking and coughing this crud from the pneumonia that he doesn't have or as he says. LOL
Today is a laid back day...as all these past 3 days have been. I've run errands, spent a few hours out shopping by myself, walked the dogs, completed a few projects that have been sitting around...not exactly Yosemite but it is what it is. Can't expect the poor sick man to go out hiking or even just driving around when he feels like s#$%. He's promised that before the snow**** we will get to Yosemite..which means it better be pretty darn soon LOL
Rhonda, I hope you get to feeling better soon. It won't go away if you don't rest!
Eileen...glad to see you are back from Scotland...and that you thoroughly enjoyed your trip. Hope you make it to Apple Hill...we want pictures and story telling time! ^_^

Katt....I know you work at the Greatest Place on Earth..but exactly where??? Do you get to go thru all the underground tunnels and all? Saw that on the Discovery Channel once..so cool.

Naomi and Jean are out of town, I think it was Nancy that was asking. Both having more fun that we are, trust me~
Doug and I went to the wedding last night. It was nice, but after 3 hours of sitting on an very uncomfortable plastic chair we came home. But Doug got to meet up with someone he has not seen in 28 years, so he really enjoyed it. You know in marriage there is alot of give and take, and I went with Doug to that wedding last night because it was his time to receive something nice. I really wanted to just sit home and rest, and today I am paying the price for going, but I will suck it up like an adult and deal with the way I feel. Seeing how much fun he had last night was worth every ache and pain I have. I love that old guy so much, he is the best man around! I am one very blessed woman.
Ok, so today there is nothing to do. NASCAR was last night, and I am just going to channel surf all day.
