Good Morning Miss Rhonda and Cali, that includes the lurkers

I am glad to hear that you are feeling better, just don't overdo, you need to get well, there are some fun weekends coming up soon, and you don't want to feel like poo, so take care of yourself now and don't be sick or feeling crummy later.

I had a pretty good weekend.  Got the carpets cleaned, this time we did it.  House is all nice and clean again, and the cleaning lady comes Wed.  Makes for a relaxing time.  Drive me nuts if I know something is out of place or dirty.  Sat night Doug and I attended his cousins wedding.  It was alot of fun, but I paid for sitting on plastic chairs yesterday.  Then while sitting yesterday, I was bending cleaning a baseboard, and ouch.  My back got really painful.  So more drugs and more sitting and it feels pretty good today.  My back needs to realize that I am in change and it will not run my life.  It is getting strong and stronger and I know I would have been all done with recovery if I didn't have that set back with my scar.  But God knows what is best, and this was probably his way of making me heal.  I would have never sat down this much otherwise.

We are counting the months down till Dougie retires.  I am awaiting a package on some health insurance and as soon as I get that, he can leave at any time.  He will be 68 in April and it's time for us to start having some fun, and we shall.  I really enjoy every minute of time I have with him.  He IS my soulmate and I can't wait to spend the next chapter of our lives together.  I count my blessing everyday.

Everyone go and sign little Michelles surgery support page, I posted it right above Rhonda angel duty page.  To all of you that are having surgery soon, check in with us here, we will keep tabs on you, and we will be here to help you out with answers to your questions.  Sometimes you don't get the answer you like, but it will be truthful!

Ok kids, have fun, and to SECC, love always.

Good morning California!

Harley is playing hookie today so we can get some things done today that have to be done outside the house for our move.  Then we'll go get more boxes out of storage and spend the day packing.

I was so happy one of my oldest friends from Jr. High School called me last night.  She was on my list of people to call before I move and I'm TERRIBLE about making phone calls.  We had a great talk.  I'm having lunch this week with my very best friend from Jr. High and High School.  Harley contacted two other friends for next week and I can't wait for LB Coffee on Saturday.

I just need to try to relax a bit.  We have so much to get done and I don't deal well with change AT ALL.  I jump out of bed in the morning going 100 mph and I'm stressing all the time about what I need to get done next.  Trying to relax about things.

Have a great Monday, California!

Good Morning.  I am here.  That's about all there is to it.  I am up and at work.  Ugh.

Finally made committment to my girlfriend - we are taking a Cruise to Alaska July 21 - July 31.  Leaving San Francisco at 4:00 pm and going through the Inland Passage.  Joe didn't want to go so I am going without him.  He went to Wyoming for 14 days hunting without me so why shouldn't I go with my friend?  He had his nose out of joint about it for a while until I pointed out that I want to go, he has said he doesn't want to go so therefore I am going without him.   There is nowhere in the contract that says he gets to pick all the vacations.  Of course, it says he has to PAY for all of them, so..........tee-hee

It rained like a mad dog last night.  Flood raining.  Lightning, downpour, icky.  I had to drive through it after taking Jayden home.  Ugly.  But, I made it home safe.

Back to it................take care everyone!

Happy Monday Cali,

I am sitting here at my desk , sleepy as heck.  I sure had a blast this weekend zipping around town.  Went to a very informative women's car care class yesterday morning.  Instead of taking my car to the dealership for servicing, I am going to take my car to the N. Hollywood discount place (owned by a woman).

Anyway, I will chat with you all later.
More Love and Peace,

Kim

Afternoon Rhonda and Cali friends.
Almost made it here in time to say Good Morning..but got to reading what everybody else had to say....and got delayed LOL

Today is Monday..just in case anybody out there missed that in all the other posts....it's raining which means my blinds are open and I got lost in daydreams staring out the window ^_^  I want to go home as the new 19" flat screen TV I bought for the new m/h just arrived UPS...I wanna go home and 'play' with it!!!!

Rhonda, glad to hear you are feeling somewhat better.  I agree with you regarding Survivor...but you also have to remember, the EDITING has a whole lot to do with how the players come across.  My niece and her family were on a reality show a couple of years ago...they were put on a cattle ranch in Texas, out in the middle of nowhere as the 'owners' and had to manage a crew of 5 ranch hands, 2 house staff and a ranch foreman.  She said it was the worst 3 months of their lives....they were depicted to be such awful people and totally inept at running the ranch.  They even got Hate Mail!!  But she said the viewers never saw what went on behind the scenes, after the cameras were shut off for the day or how the directors manipulated the players.  So, you can't believe everything you hear on Survivor..especially Russell, who is being set up to be the Grand Manipulator of all time! LOL

Anyway, I've rambled off topic long enough..sorry gang...I get carried away :-(  Hope everyone has a great day..and Remember Lit'l Michele...she should be coming out of surgery soon???
Hugs to all!

Good Evening Missy Rhonda and Cali Friends,

Sorry it's so late but I guess better late than never.

Yesterday we visited 4 long term care places for Ron's dad.  We thought 3 of them were acceptable but 1 of the 3 is over 7k per mo!  OMG, that's crazy.  So that place is out of the mix and he has long term care ins!  So we're considering 2 and one of the 2 is the nicest in my opinion and I think will ultimately be the place but it is up to Ron's Mom to make the final decision with the input of the kids.

Today was a meeting all day at work!  UGH.  Oh well, tomorrow I hope to get a few things done.

Not much else is new, just wanted to wish everyone a happy Monday and good week ahead.

Hgus,
Barb

Never to late here, just as it is never too late for the Daily Thanksgiving.  I miss you my friend.  Did you read my earlier post about a possible road trip?  I have something in the works, will PM you what my thoughts are.  Not sure it is going to work but we are giving it our best shot.  Mike still wants to come and visit you and Ron soon.  He talks about Ron like every day!
