Good Monday Morning Cali Friends, what are you thankful for today?

Today I am thankful for...

1.  Yesterday going to see 4 long-term care facilities, 3 of which were nice enough to put my father-in-law in.  It pays to do research first which I did before we went.

2. Getting our yard art put up yesterday.  I will get pics taken and post them, but it was a family affair with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law assisting.

3. My faith in God and that he has a plan.  I have to be patient and he will take care of the rest.

OK your turn, what are you thankful for today?

Morning Barb,
you are right about research, we had several the VA told us about for my brother.  When we went to see them we would not of put our dog there!  We found one who accepted VA benefits ourselves.  Our loved one are to precious.

Today I am thankful for:

Having a great talk with my mom on the phone last night (she is so crazy)

Arranging for my brother to get back down south without any complications (his son was supposed to take care of this!)

Finally putting this last project at work to bed (I hope this week) it was very complicated.

Have a great day

Great Quote again today!

Today I am Thankful for.....

1.   My family and freinds that support me and love me just the way I am.

2.  That I have work that I enjoy doing.

3.  That God is in control and I just need to show up where he tells me to go.

Thats my top 3 of today.  Thanks Barb for being so faithful with this everyday.

Good Morning Barb!

Wow! Did I need this quote today or what?!  Glad to hear that you were able to research the long term care facilities. I was 17, when I got licensed as a CNA, I did my training in one, and that was also my first job. It is so true, that you have to do unannounced visits to these facilities, maybe not even during visiting hours. You want to see how these places operate when they think nobody is looking. Some of the workers, have hearts of gold, others-- well, they cash their paycheck.  Congrats on getting the yard art up! Its always nice to have the whole family participate on a project!

Today I am thankful for...

1. that I have come to the realization, that some people thrive in negative attention and drama. I refuse to be a part of that anymore. God knows my heart and my intentions. He doesn't judge me, so what gives others the right?

2. fantastic friends. Old, new, cyber, and true!

3. the change that is starting to happen in my life. Its starting slowly, but its coming. Some unfortunate events had to happen, before I was able to grow and realize my potential (which is only limited by myself and God).

I hope you and everyone has a blessed day!

Hugs, love, & friendship,

Michelle T.

Good Morning,

Today I am thankful for:

Dougie, once again, who fed me all good food yesterday, and today I feel so good because of what he did for me

God, who knows the plans for my life, I just need to learn to be patient (must have been in the wrong line when he handed those out)

Cooler weather, if not for just a few days, it's cooler and beautiful outside.

Love to you and Ron, can't wait to see the yard and hoping to see you get down here again!

Love,  D

All the women in our family are blessed (?!?) with a tremendous amount of stubborness .. if there's a will there's most definately a way!  I was taking care of my Nana yesterday, she's 86.. and she said something to me that really stuck... she said, Rachel.. take care of yourself for as long as you can, because when you get as old as I am all you have left if you are lucky is your sense of humor!!! now if that isn't one stubborn woman!  I love her so much!  Then she went on to make me swear to God that if she kicks it before my mom and two aunts get back from Europe that I would not tell them til they got home!!! I didn't know whether to laugh or if she was serious!  Im thinkin serious :)

Today, I am thankful for humor in the face of all adversity...

I am thankful that the family is doing well, everyone is safe and relatively healthy, and Mom and Aunts are enjoying Europe!

I am thankful that God gave me the strength to keep going and granted me some fun time too this weekend - it was nonstop.

I am thankful for friends.. I think Michelle put it best...  Old, new, cyber and true!!! I love that!!!

I am thankful for a new week full of possibility and opportunity and adventures!!!

Love and Hugs to all,

Love the quote Barb!  Shoot...I'm too stubborn to give up..it would make others too darn happy to see me concede..no matter what the issue was ROTFL

Today I am Thankful for:

We are only 2 more days away from Brianna's heart surgery..and that God loves her and is protecting her

Lon being on the mend from this darn pneumonia that has him down.  At least he has been sleeping all nite since he was put on antibiodics

Learning my boss is out of the office for this week and next!  Oh...that sounds so bad LOL  He really is a great boss...I just love to tease him about his 'micro-managing' style ;-)

Next up?  Remember...God is Great and we have so much to be thankful for...even if it is for only waking up this morning and breathing air ^_^
