NOTE: A shuttle runs from the Schnell School to the Apple Hill vendors on Carson Road; you can get on and off where ever you want with less parking hassle!

Abel Apple Acres is just one of many ranches at Apple Hill that you can visit where you will find crafts, apple picking, fruit, vegetables, pumpkin patches, baked goods, hay rides, etc.

Some of us are staying at the Best Western in Pollock Pines.  There are still rooms available.

Hope you can join in the fun.  Please let me know if you'll be coming so we know how many chairs to reserve when we get there!

Hi Barb!
I just realized where your apple outing is going to be! I have cousins and an aunt that live in Placerville and Pollock Pines! I also have a cousin that has a 2 acre property in Garden Valley. Do you know where that is? It is beautiful up there!
I may just have to forgo the SoCal Coffee, and make my trip up north to join in on the fun with all of you! We are planning a family reunion and being on the committee, I could use some of the time with my aunt and cousins! Hmmm...... I'm thinking......

Michelle...that would be so frigging AWESOME if you could come up!!!!!  And bring Rhonda, Becky, Naomi, Monica, Jean, Rick, Gus, Anna, Annette, MsShells,  Stacy, Diane (I know..it is pretty far for her to travel just yet)...and everybody else I can't think of off the top of my head ^_^  We could fill our own private shuttle and tour the whole valley of apple orchards...and shops! LOL

I think it would be awesome if you could come up this way to see family!  We're part of that extended family so it sounds like it would be a great trip. 

OK, now we need to get Missy Rhonda feeling better so she could come, Diane and Doug, Naomi and Becky, Monica and Lori, heck I think all the So Cal group needs to bring a bus or two or three and come on up the 5!  LOL.  You know you are ALL welcome and we're ALL one big OH Cali family, so the more the merrier!

Sounds like a road trip to me!  Sign me up.  Soon don't be surprized if you get an email saying we are on the way!    No promises, but something is in the works!  I am keeping it under wraps until it is all confirmed up as a definate possibility!  lol.

Im so excited and looking forward to the Apple Hill trip this weekend, I can barely contain it!!!  Michelle it would be so great to finally meet you!!! Thank Rachel....we'll take all the prayers we can get at this point. She is holding her own..and surgery is scheduled for this Wednesday.  I should be getting an update sometime today...they meet with the docs again this morning ^_^
