Good Morning California and especialy Stephanie!
I do not get here enough to see that you are in the IE...like me!  All this time I thought you were near Disneyland..lol.  I just wanted to add that I go to the Performing Arts regularly also.  I don't have season tickets this year, but I usually get to be part of my friend's packet as her mom sometimes can't make it.  It sure is a terrific way to spend an afternoon and wonderful that the Arts are still with us, alive and kicking!
Have a happy weekend...

Hi Kim,

We get to the theater quite often.  We've seen some marvelous shows there.  Just saw Tap Dogs a couple of weeks ago.  It was fabulous.  And what a beautiful old theater.  It's nice that there is something cultural in San BernaGHETTO.  LOL

Let me know next time you are going and maybe it will be on one of the nights we go.  Our season tickets are on Friday nights.

As for being here and not Disney, well my heart is always at Disneyland, unfortunately the body is stuck out here for now.  My dream is to retire to the beach.  We have a house in MA on the beach, but it gets cold there and it snows alot.  Not my idea of a good time.  It is beautiful, however in the spring, summer and fall.  Ahhhh dreams.  I love to dream.

Back to reality and work.  Hope you have a great day

Morning Diane and Cali gang
WOW! Diane!!  Fantastic shout out....how all of you that can remember what everybody else is doing or haven't been seen or are facing difficulties,, etc..just amaze me ^_^  Half the time I can't remember what I'm doing, let alone anyone else LOL

Yesterday was a stressful day but at least I had work to keep my mind occcupied as I waited to hear about Brianna.  Didn't get a call until 9pm last nite but bottom line, she came thru 10 hours of surgery like a trooper!  I'll post more detail under a separate post in a little bit^_^

Today is work, tonight is Survivor (snicker snicker...like that is soooo important!) and tomorrow is Friday!  I have a 2 hour on-line training session with the bank today...going to learn something called Desktop Deposit...suppose to save me time depositng money from right here at my desk, instead of going to the bank or mailing the deposits in.   Guess you're never to old to learn new technology...keeps me employed and valuable to the company ^_^

Saturday is Apple Hill day which I am really looking forward to.  Sure hope all of my No Calif Luncheon friends and anybody from down South! can make it up the hill.  We should have a blast visiting all the vendors and stuffing ourselves with fresh Apple (pie?? hee hee)

Sunday I'm heading to Stanford...will spend the day with the kids, my grandson and Brianna...even tho my visit with her will be alot shorter than what I want.  Only 2 people are allowed in at a time and I know Momma isn't going to be kept out, even for her own parents ;-)

Well, back to work and getting myself organized for the training session.  Diane, you have completed a great shout out...so instead of trying to keep up with you, I'll just piggy-back and say "DITTO"!  My prayers are with all whether you are in stress or just having a great day...we can all use God's Blessings and Love....have a great day and enjoy!

Good Morning All,

Diane- Wow, what a shout-out!  Hope you were able to finally get some rest.  Have you tried valerian root?  It's herbal and non-addicting.  You can get it at any health food store.

Cali- Trying to find a parking space, on the street, in my neighborhood is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.  I drove around for about 30 mins this morning.  In the midst of my parking quest, I thought that I better go home and get my purse and knitting.  Good thing I did, because I was very far away from home.  After I parked, I was able to go to a nearby bus stop and come into work.  Meanwhile, I am getting the run around from both the manager and owner of the apartment complex where I stay regarding the parking.  If push comes to shove, I will file a formal complaint against them.

I think I am going to to do the L.A. Marathon next year.  Kirsten has been working on me like a woodpecker and I have caved.  She told me I could still do a 3 mile run on Saturday with APLA.  We will see.

More Love & Peace,
Kim

I love Valerian Root!  I call it my "Good Night Gracie" pill.  It smells and tastes horrid but it gives you a good case of ZZZZZZZZ!

Good Morning Cali Crew!

Today is such a beautiful day! I am so glad that I made the decision to have this surgery. My life has been so changed, for the good and the bad. I try to focus on the positive. I learn from the bad and turn them into positives. Like when I first got the foamies, or had that ugh feeling from trying to eat something I shouldn't have. So now, I have learned to be careful of what I eat, or how fast I eat. Hence, the positiveness.
Today brings walking as usual. I also will be spending most of the day, going through quite a few clothes. I will be able to bring quite a few to the Tom's Farm gathering. I am really looking forward to seeing everybody get together. Quite a few people who I will be able to have the pleasure of meeting for the first time. And a lot of people that I am looking forward to reconnecting with. It should be a blast!
I will not be able to attend the So Cal Coffee, this weekend. I hope you all have a fabulous time. I will miss saying good-bye to Janeene and Harley, but I have already spoken to her. I am sorry I will have to miss the lunch as well. I also can not attend the Apple Hill gathering, as well. But don't you worry, Nor Cal peeps, I will be getting up there shortly! It would be great if you could all join us for Tom's Farms! :-)
I will continue to keep everybody, that is in need, in my thoughts and prayers.
Have a wonderful Thursday, folks!
Hugs, friendship, & support always,

Michelle T.

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Good afternoon Diane and Cali Crew! Great shout out Diane. Hope you are feeling better with your back. The Tom's Farms event is coming along nicely. I think we are going to have a great turn out.

Today bring choir rehearsal at the church. We are serving all three services on Sunday. I love serving in the choir. So we have rehearsal at 6:30 until ???. I hope we can whip through the rehearsal and be home before 10pm. Sunday, I have to be at the church at 5:30am for sound check. This will be the last month that we will have 3 services. November 1st, we go to 2 services, the first of which will be at 9:30am.

Anyway, that is it for me. I hope everyone has a great day. And remember, be good to yourself and each other. xoxoxo
