Non Surgical Weight Loss Center For Wife ?
Hi All,
My wife Cheryl, has been through this whole process with me, putting up with my nasty moods, and post op sickness, she is a terrific wife. However, she has had the some medical problems over the years, and she has become badly over weight. Because of cancer and a liver transplant 4 years ago she is in eligible for WLS. She would like to go to an in patient medical weight loss center, where she can be there for a month or so to try and work on her weight.
Since so many of us tried allot of alternative, before surgery, I was wondering if any one can recommend an in patient weight loss program here in California ?

Aren't you just the nicest husband to look out for her this way. She is lucky.
As to your question, Lindora is a good one. It's pricey but it is good. You see them several times a week and they monitor you very closely. You eat regular food plus they offer supplements (protein drinks/bars, etc.) and you get B-12 shots weekly. They work their program in 8 week groupings, so you are only paying for 8 weeks at a time. You don't have to come up with the entire amount all at once and can make a down payment and then pay weekly. Have her look into it.
Other than that, has she asked her physicians if they can recommend something. Alot of physicians now have nutritionists that they work with. And of course there is always Weigh****chers. It's an oldie but goodie. Slow certainly, but healthy.
I hope she finds something to help her. But I'm sure with your support she will do fine.
