Hey It's Saturday! Get UP or Go To Bed

It all depends if you are just getting up or just going to bed but heck it is still Saturday!   What is everyones wonderful plans for today?  Something fun I hope!   I am sitting here with my Gal Pal Ms. Becky having coffee at 1:17 in the a.m.   She is a coffee ***** to say the least!   She keeps this huge thing of powdered cream at my house for all of her coffee needs!  What a crack up is she!  lol.   Well today brings the Long Beach Coffee and the Luncheon, then an evening of fun and frolic with more Gal Pals.  My goodness it is another Gal Pal weekend!  Gal Pals are just the best are they not?  So are you going to hang with your Gal Pals or Guy pals or Pals.  Share Share.  What ever you are doing have agreat weekend and be nice to someone important!  YOU!

I have been so out of the loop but between work and trying to do a bit of me focus, I don't have much time to sit here and type.  We will be seeing a few of you today at coffee, so glad I checked the board yesterday.  I had a feeling it was going to be changed considering the holiday.

So glad to hear you have a fun weekend planned!  Say hi to everyone for me too and give everyone hugs.

Today we're heading out to Apple Hill, we'll meet the gang at 11a.m. and then have a day of fun running around the various farms.  Some of us are going to rally for dinner tonight too and then stay over night and leave in the morning.

I am sitting on my couch, and enjoying the morning. I am supposed to be working today, but I managed to get the morning off. YEAH!!!! We had lots of people scheduled so I got lucky. I still may have to work this afternoon, because if I didn't I would be going to Apple Hill with the North Cal gang. Oh well, next year.  Not much planned for the weekend, just getting things organized for my move into my house, and relax. I am still working on British time. It takes me a good week or so to get turned back around. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. I must run, going to drive a friend to work this morning, seeing as I am up and dressed.

Well its Saturday and I know what that means.. I am at work.

But this after noon I am going to stop and buy a cute pair of boots I saw. Maybe something else to lift my mood up.

Then home to check on my little one. Hes had a rough week. Fell and knocked out two teeth (baby teeth) and jammed two adult teeth back into his gums. My poor little man...

I am preparing to go to the local office of the ISS (Industrial Support System) a division of the Fontana Rehabilitation Workshop which sees to the needs and employment of persons with physical and mental disabilities (since 1965). 

What am I gonna do there you ask!?  Well, as a member of the Board of Directors,  I am going to get the pots boiling for a Lobster Dinner Fund Fundraiser for the the organization! 
We are having over 150 LIVE Lobsters flown in from Maine this morning!!  Yummmmoooo 

Along with tri-tip, salads, corn and desserts we are going to help replenish the coffers because of the CA state financial cutbacks that has resulted in 20% of layoffs of both persons with disabilities and the staff that trains and oversees their safety. 

What a day!!

Good Morning Rhonda and Becky and the rest of the crowd.

Today brings me hanging with my short pal Jayden!  We are going to gut some pumpkins and carve scary faces on them.  We are also going to go to the costume store and buy the kid a cool costume for Halloween.  I do have to do some minor maintenance on my house as the dog hair is starting to form unions and will reach out and bite my ankles if they're not evicted.  I need a pill to keep my dogs from shedding!!!!

Everyone is to bed early tonight as tomorrow we're up early and headed down to Vallejo and Discovery Kingdom.  Rollercoasters, animals, dolpin and sea lion shows, killer whales and Jayden and I are going to ride on an elephant!!!!  Since they don't open until noon, we're meeting the kids at the Carls Jr. at 11:30, having cupcakes and singing birthday songs to Siobhan and starting the party off right!  My last teenager is turning 20.  Awwwww

I hear a shower calling my name!  Have fun, stay take your vitamins and drink your water!

Sorry LB Coffee group I will not see you today, I had the pleasure of having my 4mth old grandson for the night. His daddy just picked him up and I am home not at my moms in Bellflower, so may be next month. Spending the rest of the day with hubby and getting the rest of the grand kids costumes ready for next wked.
