The Lobster Fest fundraiser went wonderfully yesterday....if anybody saw that I posted a note about it.  We (a 7 person team) cooked up 135 live Maine lobsters, flown in straight from Maine yesterday morning,  By 6 p.m., we were serving as many (135) people a full Lobster and tri-tip dinner with all the fixins.  It was a wonderful exerience, the second time I've ever done it.  Community/civic volunteering is so rewarding, I cannot wait to work on or head up the next event, whatever it might be.
By the way..I lost 3 1/2 pounds..lol  9 a.m. to 10 p.m....non stop!  I wonder how many steps that was in a 30,000 sq. foot building!

Congratluations on the 3 1/2 lbs and for the success of your fund raiser.  I am glad you had a good time because I know it can be a lot of hard work!  Enjoy a restful day today!

I slept the morning away too.  This afternoon my baby granddaughter is getting baptized.  I need to get off the computer and start getting ready.

Good Evening Rhonda and Cali Friends,

Yes indeed, we sure did have a great time yesterday with everyone at Apple Hill.  That will be a part of our fall festivities for years to come.  So glad you So Cal folks had a great time as well.

We got up early this morning and came home and rallied with my mother and sister-in-law and did a Costco run and then had our neighbors over for dinner with all of us.

It looks like the place Ron's Dad is in is not the best after all and we will look to make a change tomorrow.  Several very egregous errors have been made  where he is and we need to move him now before something worse happens.  I started the wheels in motion this afternoon but will probably complete things tomorrow.  I will explain more later once he is moved.

Tomorrow my sister-in-law goes back home to Canada, I know she leaves with a very heavy heart and worry too.  She does know that we are here for both of them and she doesn't have to worry.

Naomi, you are in my thoughts and prayers for a very easy surgery and very speedy recovery.

Well I am gonna hit the hay but I just wanted to say hi before the day ended!

Hugs to all,
Barb
