Good Morning Cali,

I had a great weekend.  My knitting session was rounded out with a devotional and that made my time there a little longer.  Next time, when I am on a tight schedule, I will notify them when I first arrive so that there will be no hard feelings when I excuse my self before leaving.  By the time, I finally got to Seal Beach, everyone had left the resturant.  Plus, I did not know where the resturant was located, so that made the situation worse.  I am directionally challanged.  Since I was there, I needed to get something to eat.  Afterwards, I went back to my cousin's house.

Sunday, I had meant to go to the laundrymart , but that did not happen.  I did make it to the Hollywood Farmer's Market to buy the shea butter.  Why didn't someone warn me that parking was a *****  Note to self, take the Metro the next time I want to go to that Farmer's Market.  Went to my friend's church and had to leave service a little early because I had forgotten that I promised a lady that I was going to give her a glass bowl.  The problem was that we were supposed to meet at a resturant near my house and I was in Compton.  So, I called to lady to tell her that I would be there in 15 mins.  I arrived almost to the minute.  I could not have done that on the bus.  Afterwards, I picked up a friend and we went to my cousin's house for dinner.

Good Morning Kim and the Cali Gang!!

Figured I'd take a few and post before it's not morning anymore.  I had an ok weekend.  I had Angel food Distribution on Saturday.   That went off really well because we had extra help from some football players from Hesperia High School.  I had AAA come out to try and jump my car and it would not start.  He said that there was some kind of electrical issues.  I called the guy that I was buying the car from and told him to come and get it because I am done with it.  I already replaced the starter and I am not going to sink anymore money into a POS.  I will just have to be patient and wait a little while longer.

My back is still not any better.  It was a little worse this morning so I think I will have to talk to someone about getting a ride to the doctors.  It was really hard to walk to work this morning.  I had to stop every so often and bend over and stretch out my back to get some relief.  After work, I am going home to rest today.  I am not doing anything unless I absolutely have to.

I really hope you get to the doctor soon.  I know it's hard when you don't have a car, I haven'tbeen able to drive for almost 5 months now and it's driving me flippin nuts.  If you want me to call you I will and tell you of some exercises that can release some of that pressure, please PM me if you want me too.

Hi!

I don't post on here often anymore, but I'm in Laguna Hills! Just wanted to say hi to a neighbor!

I had a restful weekend.  I really needed it.  Sunday afternoon my sweet granddaughter got baptized.  My DIL is Catholic.  It was a really nice service.  We were the only ones there.  Afterward we went out to Strings Italian Cafe.  I had a half a meatball and some sauce.  When we got home my husband and I both feel asleep on the couch.  DH woke me up to go to bed and I slept until almost 7.  I think I slept 12 or 13 hours.  I really needed it.  Today has been uneventful. 

My sister called this afternoon. (After I talked to you Diane) She said my dad is completely back today.  He new my mom is still alive and remembered I was there and told her how good I looked losing weight.  (He doesn't remember he thought I was his girlfriend which is good because he would be embarrassed!)  He asked about their money, (typical Dad).  It was nice to hear this.  I hope it lasts a while!

That was so good to hear.  I am glad, I don't know what makes them come and go like that, but at least your mom got some relief from the day before.

Tried to post this morning but this dang computer at work decided it wasn't ready to work on a Monday morning.  After 3 reboots, finally gave up and worked on a project that didn't require the internet. Seems ok this afternoon LOL

I already posted about our fabulous fun filled Saturday at Apple Hill...we might even go back next weekend...Lon wants to check out more apple farms LOL

I wasn't able to go to see Brianna or the kids Sunday :-(  Got a text message from my son that he, DIL and grandson were all sick and the hospital wouldn't let them in.  He wasn't sure if it was something they all ate (fast food always!) or just the cold/flu bug going around.  Not sure what is the truth but it is what it is....and since her surgery was a success, she'll be around for a long time to come ;-)  So, Sunday was a pretty laid back day...went and bought some fresh strawberries, played on the computer some and then slept most of the afternoon and early evening.  Amazing what being out in the fresh air (Saturday) can do to ya...didn't realize I was that tired! LOL

Tonight is support group...leader is talking about going to San Jose in November to hear a WLS psychologist (sp) who specializes in maintaining after the 'honeymoon' phase passes.  I'm not there yet but figure it can't be hurt to be prepared ^_^

And maybe when I get off work, before I go home....I'll stop at MJK Shoes to try on a pair of BOOTS (are ya listening Monica!!) LOL  Have a great day and be good to yourselves!
